Looking at the changes, we should be getting it, surprised that there's no mention of project roadrunner though.▐ ❤★Google Nexus S Official Thread V3★❤▐, http://www.google.com/phone/detail/nexus

When you say the screen went blank I assume it is still OFF, right? The power button doesn't power it up.
Try holding the power button for more than 30 seconds. The last two times that I played with Android Beam with NFC, my NS actually auto off on its own, and then even after I pull out the battery, waited 15 seconds, put back in, still can't power up. I did what I learned for my Sansa Clip, that's to Press and Hold the power button for more than 30 seconds. Then my NS is alive again. |

QUOTE(Deani_77 @ Nov 16 2012, 12:14 PM) I believe 2 major updated... Which already passed At first I thought 4.2 was a small update, but my N7 needed to download 200+MB, which is like half of the ROM, so, yeah, I feel for Google that they don't support this phone on 4.2. I would still like to have the gesture keyboard though, hopefully they can publish that as a normal app.1. ICS 2. JB OS still the same with other, the only thing it was vanilla or pure Google. And I don't believe current user will use their phone more than 2 year unless normal phone user (Nokia 3310 type) QUOTE(Deani_77 @ Nov 16 2012, 12:14 PM) And weird thing Nexus 4 still not yet supported in AOSP. Yeah, this is really really funny, I have a fear that it will never will! They are probably going to skip this and release when its version 4.3 or 5.0, it has happened before. |

QUOTE(lgs @ Nov 25 2012, 02:06 PM) I am looking forward to upgrade my phone to Nexus 4 too There's a thread in xda that claims ICS have almost double the battery of JB, for me I am using Green Power right now, doubled my battery as well. The main drainer is the 3G, in fact WIFI is a lot better than 3G. Maybe it have got to do with UMobile.I don't think anyone would want a Nexus S used set, my battery like a bit weaker than last time (in 3G mode), maybe due to Jelly Bean or battery aging, anyone face the same issue? Added on November 27, 2012, 10:26 am QUOTE(DValentine @ Nov 26 2012, 11:18 PM) this rom better http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...843301&page=138 How's the performance so far? personally I find the phone to crawl a bit in JB, won't want to make it even slower by up-ing to 4.2. CM 10.1 should be just around the corner.but have to wait until it is ready This post has been edited by kiwlm: Nov 27 2012, 10:26 AM |

QUOTE(joker_jr @ Dec 14 2012, 12:44 AM) Wow, this thread still alive. Recently i bought xperia sola. Aside from battery fast draining, i realized my nexus is smoother than sola even sola comes with dual core. Currently using cm 10 stable with go launcher on nexus. Maybe its time to let go my nexus. Thinking to get note 2 or s3+ nexus 7 for next upgrade. No Nexus 4 love? |

QUOTE(Deani_77 @ Jan 14 2013, 06:17 AM) Depends on usage... Heavy internet usage around 8-12 hours... Wihout internet usage... 2 days When you say without internet usage, are you saying you disable the mobile data? or you enable the mobile data but did not use the phone? Now my phone, if I enable mobile data, the battery won't last 1 day, even if I don't touch the phone... |

QUOTE(Deani_77 @ Jan 14 2013, 11:18 PM) Yes, disable mobile data... and some people claimed disable Google Now and Google location also help in preserving some battery power when enable mobile data. Yeah, Google Location is the main thing, after disabling this, a lot of Google Now stuffs won't work anymore, besides Sports maybe...Now also I toggle the mobile data off manually most of the time, used to use apps like Green Power, Tasker etc to turn the mobile data off when screen off, but after that, realize that sometimes I have to fight it, like halfway chatting with gtalk, screen off, mobile data goes off... zzz So now everything is manual! |

QUOTE(Deani_77 @ Jan 15 2013, 09:16 PM) Never try it with lock bootloader (Unlock it since the first day I bought my Nexus S). Maybe other user have the experience. Yeah need to unlock, which will erase everything in your phone. Just installed photosphere, How do you guys take it? Rotate the phone only? Or rotate your body? What's this icon with 3 circle at the bottom when I view it in gallery? Clicking on it shows no application can handle this. |

QUOTE(Deani_77 @ Feb 24 2013, 10:12 PM) A couple 4.2.2 ROM already out at XDA Developer including official CM. Camera now with Nexus 4 HDR function... Not stable yet right? according to http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?type=stable&device=crespo, the stable one is still 10.0, not 10.1. |

QUOTE(someone_cs @ Feb 28 2013, 08:31 PM) Think a lot of people changed phone already! :| My power button is still working properly, though I have read a lot of cases on XDA!I think if my power button wacko, will be getting Nexus 4 straight away, until then, just wait for the next Nexus first. Fed up with the high battery usage (it was always like 30%, I enabled all the location services) of Google Maps, last weekend I reflashed the stock ROM, and did not upgrade any of the google apps, since then, it seems that Google Maps is only taking around 10% which is acceptable. Going to monitor for a while before I put in my standard apps. |
