ahhh....theres a dial or a button...that can switch between "air from outside" and "circulate"
if its set to "air from outside" and u drive through smoky places, of course the smoke smell will come inside the car
and the aircon will be less cold as well
so need to set to circulate
*
hi mr aliern,

im using circulate. i still able smell a little lorry smoke from outside when waiting traffic light. or smell mee goreng when pass by food stall.
when filling petrol, i can smell heavy petrol come in to my car. ya, i didnt turn off my engine n keep my aircon on, hehe...
have u guys got this experience before? can sc fix the problem?

erm...i think...i think ah
i think its becuz the aircon filter isn't as thick as u think it is
if u open the glove box and take out the filter, it isn't as thick as u think it is
u can however, buy a better filter and see how it works...search around "automotive garage"...its very cheap
but it might not be the filter's problem

added: i suddenly remember, exora have 2 sets of compressor..right?
can that be the problem?
*
im driving exora bold. i think its same as other exora bold owner right? donno they got same problem or not.

how to check its compressor problem?

Hmm, if not mistaken is 7 bars
*
No, for normal only 3 bars. Im very comfirm with this coz my sa had told me never go over 4-5 bars. i did always keep monitor my temperature it jz stay at 3 bars.

Pls check ur coolant asap. Sometime they forgot pour the coolant as i had read some thread here. Or else send to sc tomorrow.

last night driving back to home at average 80kmh. suddenly 'pong' front left tyre puncture. i think i'm the 1st EBP owner tyre puncture, lol.

after i change the spare tyre (its really hard to jet up the car and the spare tyre is heavy to get out), i go petrol station check the others tyre air pressure, theres still have 32-34 psi left.

i check the door side stated there jz only need 31 psi. isit 31 psi really enough for a heavy car? then i jz pump all my tyre to 37 psi.

i will send my punctured tyre to trye shop later today. ask them to check for it and will update back here.

update: jz back from the tyre shop. well, tyre hit big nail. lol.
the worker said 31 psi is standard even 28-29 psi also can. if want pump more, 35 psi is sufficient.
and he said why malaysia cars using indonesia tyre instead of malaysia made tyre? haha...

hmmm....u mean cold thn not cold for awhile is it?
i think its normal since the compressor didn't pump cold air continuously...
when u hear "pssst" sound..mean cold air coming in..thn after that its wind
its normal....as long as the inside of the car stays cold..i dn't see any problem
and your temp...better stay at 50%+
*
Well, recently i feel my aircon doesn't cool at all when waiting at traffic light, or theres hot air come out especially at big hot day. But when the car move everything go fine.

I got checked my radiator fan, both are running well. Temparature is normal 3 bars as well. Donno can complain to SC or not.

If the temp I all time switch to 100%, will it harm my air con?
