Hi there, need some advice.

Got some stinky smell everytime I turn on my aircond for about one minute, then the smell gone. Smell is there even if I only turn on the blower without compressor kick in. Driving the old Peugeot 408.

Probably your cooling coil get mold / cabin filter is dusty, make the smell coming out when you turn on the AC.
Should get a internal A/C service for your Cooling Coil set.

Bro I have a problem with the Aircond in my Car (VW Passat, B7 model, 2017).

The musty smell coming out intermittently from the air cond. I went few times to VW dealer and changes the air filter few times and the problem still persists and I really desperate now with problem.

Would you please advise me what went wrong?
Are your workshop familiar with VW cars?

My ac fuse was blowned twice this month. Upon replacing the fuse, the ac is back to normal.

What might be the problem, tq.

Did the A/C circulation at status below (always at Internal circulation all the time)?


Year 2017 model, is very new & under warranty.
Should advise higher level Person-In-Charge @ Service Center to attend your concern.

Yes Bro,

That is correct as shown in the picture.

I have sent the car to the VW service center, however, they just replace filter 3 times and the smell still persists intermittently.

Please advise if you are capable to fix the problem with VW Passat. As I believe the evaporator or cooling coil needs to be cleaned properly.
