How much fc can a spoiler add??

Its just few kg.. leave the fuel tank 1/2 save more fc.. and i dun really understand driving a huge size car want power.. but wan fc like hai brid..

Car lighter = easier to accelerate. If not why they say lancer is heavier because of the 18 inch rims + the spoiler makes it slower than inspira at acceleration ....

No matter how the measurement lari.. its still create downforce.. juz open ur window.. use ur hand put out... u feel the wind push ur hand down when u put lower front angle.. thats call downforce.. when u are going 90 above.. it will create downforce.. be it ori or afrer market.. or fiber..

I suggest u keep fit.. remove the rear seats.. Change to evo x bonnet cover.. that would really help

4kg still weight == if ask you to wear extra 4 kg things on you ... you also will feel its heavy la ==

Btw.. i dun even think the spoiler weights more then 3kg.. I really doubt how slow cam it go and how much fuel cam it takes up..

Then i might have problem.. sometimes i fetch my wife.. i think around 50kg.. i dun feel much diff when drivimg alone.. I dunno how 4kg can slow me down.. unless u saying f1 timing.. 0.0001 seconds

the stock one for evo x weights 6.1kg .... should be around 3k ... for fibre one ... Evo X spoiler is quite big ==

Bro.. if youdont liek spoiler dont change... dont keep harping that 4kg will slow the car down lah... 4kg is liek 0.3%of the car weight... the effect on acceleration, FC, etc is Negligible

Heh.. not only them.. I'm modding spoiler too.. cuase I can live with a 4kg increase if it means my car looks nicer. We are not talkign state of the art track car here where every 5kg means win or lose.. this is a family sedan lah. Heck.. every single one of my car until have spoiler.. since my first 1.3 wira aeroback... i dont feel my car slower then people's also

Doubt u know much bout engines..

smoother air flow is good for high speed engine rev.. low speed u wan the vaccuum to create turbulance to contribute better air fuel mixture.. open pod is juz good for high end smooth dlow.. summore without heat shield.. sucking hot air makes the fc even higher then i install 3 spoiler

I only tell them because our car has CVT and there is a delay in acceleration >.> so putting weight on it the acceleration will be slower only ... just acceleration ... Our car after 80 can run edi == but the acceleration from 0 - 80 really dam slow .... this is fact la ...

Come tt and see which cvt is slow.. hehehe

Yeap i dunno much about engine in deep but yes without heat shield will make u suck more heat produced by the engine therefore people make holes connected from the open pod air filter to the front bumper of the car to get the air suck directly into open pod filter.

Between im looking for heat shield if you know there is places that sell please do let me know lolx. I don't constantly drive like a dare devil so the FC should be ok until i find the heat shield X-x.

Sucking hot air.. be it dare devil mode or normal drive mode.. fc sure much higher compare to non open pod.
