You don't know yet until they finished the balloting and publish the result. But if you apply >100lots, it usually will be on the next level.

TA Securities recommend Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad with a ‘buy’ call and target price of RM5.50 per share based on the firm’s ambitious expansion plans.

Can believe the research or not?hmm.gif

No body will know until end of balloing. But i suspect around 2%

100 units applicant has 49% chance of getting for last time MSM balloting result, vompared to 1000 units is lesser. Dont know this time will be the same or not. Sometimes apply more doesnt mean higher chance of getting. hmm.gif

Maybe, because lot of the palm oil tree are over 20years old.

I also heard that Felda is going into India for palm oil plantation (JV with India government). Someone told me the news. I think it could happen because in FGVH prospectus say they want to expand into others countries for oil palm plantation hmm.gif

There are news and hype building to the announcement and listing of FGV. Well, people can only speculate on it as its an IPO but well, why did the government sell all their stake in FGV? something happened? But if so, why are investors willingly invest their money in? which of course includes the Qatarians investors?

News released 1 day ago shows that institutional investors subscribed more than 15times. What do you say about that? FGV could be bought and kept for long term investment purposes. Oil Palm trees maturing will be one of the main risk factors to buy.

Speculator? Buy it and keep till your preferred pricing according to different sources of recommendation and sell it.

FGV is for the very long term. Replanting all its old trees will take a big sum of money, affects dividends and profits. If u take long term to mean 10 years, we would probably see some down cycle which u might be able to buy at a cheap price. Stock market moves in cycles. The oversubscription by institutional funds does not indicate a high opening price.
