About the Yondaime being the Akatsuki leader, that was the first thing me and my friend thought when we saw him(his eyes) in the manga. Who knows, mebbe he found a way out of that jutsu, or someone brought him back alive like Orochimaru's jutsu bringin' out the hokages.
And my friend brought this up:
Remember Orochimaru brought up three 'coffins', but the Sandaime stopped the third one? Who knows, it might be empty....

that doesn't make sense at all. fourth is like a number and it can't have a Kage. maybe Kage's fourth would've made a little sense, but not fourth's Kage.
even if it is seen this way "Yondaime's Kage".
