sorry for confusion, i like to take pictures with my 4s on food. looks similar with dslr quality some people cannot differentiate which is which..

Yup. Taken just now on 4S. There's even an article comparing iPhone 4S camera with a DSLR but sadly I can't recall where did I read it. Will post later if I can remember.

Yes, I saw these news before too. They compare iPhone4s with Nikon D90, and saying that iPhone4s users is more than Nikon D90 users nowadays.

Lemme see, comparing a DSLR that has an optical zoom, a DSLR that can fit an 18-200mm VR with an iPhone 4s? That's typical fanboism.

Look at that bird 20 feet away .... try taking a photo of that with a 4s.

I have a 4s, but I wouldn't want to compare that with my D300s ....

ive seen iphone 4s HD video with canon 5d MkII. thou i agree the 5d MKII wins by a long shot but im quite astonished that the pics are quite ok for iphone 4s... not as smooth as 5d MKII but its a decent quality coming from a phone....

i do have d300s btw but sometimes i like taking pictures using my iphone.... easy...

am starting to ditch my point and shoot Sony that cost me 1k back then
ever since using my 4S to take pictures.

damn nice and clear
see it on my Retina display instantly.
zooming is effortless. Sharing is as well.
I can immediately whatsapp my gf's iPhone 4 and she can have that
nice pic in her phone as well.

The advantages is just too attractive.

Oh and not to forget, taking a pic with my 4S is like twice faster with my Sony.

Double tap home button->position my 4S with that large display->tap to take picture->tap again to view it full screen->zoom if i want->press sleep button

and i'm on to the next shot. All this happened without any lag or delay.

I do agree that for ease of use and the ability to be able to whip it out and take some photos, the iPhone 4s is very handy BUT ....

I travel a lot and I go to Greece, Rome, Vienna for holidays and I can bet you that my MAIN camera will be my D300s ... it's bulky, bloody heavy and a pain to carry on my shoulder but I would never think that after spending RM60,000 for the family trip that I would depend on my iPhone 4s to capture all the scenery, family photos etc.

Today afternoon, i was having lunch nearby state library.
With me is 2 of my friends, one is using galaxy ace and another one is using galaxy note.
We are browsing and streaming youtube by using library wifi.

What embarassed me is, both of samsung user, ace and note, able to browse and stream youtube flawlessly compared to my iphone 4s. My phone also frequently disconnected from wifi connection.
Damn. It was so embarassing
