You obviously did not know that we can order the phone from Apple Online Store which is not tied to any telcos. Just place and order and they will send it directly to your front door within 2 - 3 weeks. Buying from garage sales or phone shop will only be the last resort since they really cut your throat.

Now even bank ATM cards can double as Debit cards. Some forumers can purchase using those debit cards but need to clarify with banks first if not mistaken.

He's asking why his company mail and hotmail was downloaded/push automatically although he already set it to manual i.e. open mail app only download.

Would be great if you can divulge more info on your phone i.e. which model, os version, jailbreak or not, happens since day one or since you installed something so we can help to troubleshoot.

In Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Fetch New Data -> Advanced -> Did you select Hotmail to manual?

I also set my company and hotmail acc to manually fetch. I'll only get new mail when I open the mail app. Only mail from icloud will be push automatically.

Wow ... I don't know where you get this fact. iPhone 2G can't talk and surf the net simultaneously because of EDGE limitation.

3G is totally different where data and voice can be use simultaneously.

Which part of the proof that I've posted is not local enough for you when I said I called my other phone and surf with safari at the same time? Did I say I'm using AT&T or you prefer a youtube of my phone as a local proof?

The Apple iPhone ad that I've posted was just to show that it's capable of doing the things that you said was not possible. The only phone that can't do this is the one from Verizon which is not compatible with our local telco.

Like I said, last time with the iPhone 2G, it's not possible because of EDGE limitation and not the phone (I've used one before). Why yours does what it does? Honestly I don't know.

Yup ... monitor your usage and you'll be fine.

Forget the stock youtube app. Use the web based youtube. Far better and you can turn on/off HQ

Yup. Taken just now on 4S. There's even an article comparing iPhone 4S camera with a DSLR but sadly I can't recall where did I read it. Will post later if I can remember.
