From what I experienced today. I reached KLCC Maxis at 7.25am SATURDAY. I got no.13 (Wondering what time the 1st guy reached)

Around 8.30am MAXIS opening hours ,MORE THAN 50 people came. Maxis stuff distributed 50 forms with No. For those who late can only come again at 2pm which is second batch.

Around 9.30am I got my phone and settle everything.

My friend work in the Maxis. She told me " Maxis will GOT STOCK EVERYDAY. So they have to limit and assign the stock to prevent NO STOCK. "

Go early and then you get your phone.

Demand was high for 32GB and not 64GB which maxis put a request to apple base on demand indeed.

Oh...wat time u went there today? Cs the maxis person told me they oni release around 5 units of 64gb per day...i am not sure wat she told me is true or not

what you quoted about maxis having stock everyday is very true.
they have limits on how many sets will be sold on present day so that they still have stocks for the next few days before restock

Which i really don't see the point.

The point is preventing new customer going to other telcos.

Stocks have limits regardless if they have plenty. Hence good inventory control can really prevent loses and help planning stock ordering.
