hey guys, im new here so hello ^^
i've been planning to get a vita but for certain reasons, im not quite sure about getting it. i hope you guys can help ^^

1- for the ps+ subscription part, once my subscription is over, will the games i dloaded be gone or they'll stay? for the free ones i mean.
2- is it necessary to be connected to the internet other than updates or dloading? im not really a frequent gamer and i just thought of buying for individual gaming.
3- why is SG vita cheaper than MY? is it the guaranty or are there any other reasons?

thats all i can think for now, thanks in advance ^^

ps: sorry for the silly q's, im a noob in this..

edit: finished the whole thread, agn nvm ^^

1. It will still be there, but you cannot play the game, so it still useless to keep. laugh.gif
2. Nope, does not affect any of your game experience. But some game might required you to go online just for the sake of updating your current progress in a game that you play.
3. You know Malaysia... ext cost... biggrin.gif

can you tell me how to set up the 3g for ps vita??
*
There is no setup for your device if your PS Vita is 3g+wifi device already. You just need a simcard and plug it inside the simcard tray on the Vita device.

But remember just one thing, if your device coming from US Set or Japan Set, the 3G+Wifi device is not usable. Only wifi can be used, and the 3g setting is not compatible with our country simcard. laugh.gif

currently I'm using US PSN. Bout the Ps Vita Games Retail Packing that I purchase I need to choose R1 or R3 Region? Cause some of the games can play online. I'm kinda confuse bout this.
*
If it have any online or code for you to play it online, so that game you should buy R1. Some will not need you to have specific Region game, but to be safe, you should buy game specific to your account region.

Does it mean that the game card selling in lowyat only can be used by 2 person. How to deactivate a game card from the vita?
*
no, what he means is for the device with digital game. For the gamecard is not like that. You can use game card to any ps vita device. The important thing to look for is only the Online Pass. If the game got Online Pass, so the other buyer need to ask the seller if he use the Online Pass or not. If use, so you might want the price of the second hand game is lower than a game that does not have Online Pass. tongue.gif tongue.gif

Absolutely.

Support one user... eh well, depend on what angle you are looking at...  it "allows" you to have multiple accounts, only that you cannot cross sharing digital contents (games) among accounts of different regions (account is linked to Memory Card), means you cannot transfer/copy digital games content (don't know about video or music etc) from a US account tied Memory Card to other non-US accounts tied Memory Card, i.e JPN or HK etc... (unless it's a new or formatted MC).

For game card, it's another story, you can have two VITA systems exchange the game cards to play (the 3rd VITA must require deactivation)... DO read the game manual carefully for the limitation, they never get bored repeating the same things anyway...
*
er.. what do you mean with the bold part... sweat.gif sweat.gif i thought gamecard can be used with many ps vita as long as you just delete the bubble in the ps vita interface... biggrin.gif

*
ill try answering 1 question of yours:

1. Cannot answer since i do not have malaysian psn

2. Maybank debit card cannot be use for US PSN. And yes you can buy any topup card in 10usd, 20usd, 50usd at the garage sale in this lowyat forum (from sellers). There are many sellers who sell those kind of topup card, choose the best seller! laugh.gif

Need HELP.

im using maxis broadband sim card to my Vita, inserted the card and the vita detected MY MAXIS 3G. then i go to setting>network>internet connection test.

this is the outcome_
Obtain IP address: Successful
Internet Connection: Failed

Could not connect to to the Internet.
(C2-13935-1)

MY MAXIS 3G so sudden changed to MY MAXIS H (hsdpa)

googled edi but all of them got problem with wifi not sim card. any solution pls? is it bcos im using sim card for usb brodband not phone sim card?

[edited]

tried to activate 3g via phone, failed.
is it possible that my sim card is not for 3G since it's an internet sim card. and Vita cannot support it.
*
i got no problem using celcom broadband simcard with my wifi/3g ps vita device.

Have you just try internet browser without using the internet connection test? Or maybe your ps vita device are region lock cause US SET or JAP SET 3G/WIFI cannot be use with malaysian simcard...

my saves are in my R3 account, so that's not a problem. Was worried earlier if the R1 games are able to copy into Vita with an R3 account but now I guess I don't need to worry anymore. Hehe.

thank you so much for the clarification!
*
Install digital R1 game to R3 PS Vita account? Is a no no there... Digital game cannot be transfer between another region account. Unlike hard-copy game, you can use it on your vita whatever region you have.

Hi guys.

Sorry noob question. Im planning to buy psv bcause i want to play mostly FF titles - FF7,8,9. But how to purchase from the PSN store? and how to pay the games? Using credit card is it?  Or have to purchase a reload card or something?

Tq.
*
The PSN Store is an apps inside the ps vita device. One you create account (either R1, R2 or R3 region) you can access the store. Using credit card mostly if you create R3 account, or you can purchase reload card by the name of PSN Card
