Gamecard is possible for YOU TO PLAY on any psn account you have (only digital version is not). The only problem is with the dlc. DLC are tied with specific region of the gamecard.

By the way, there are many seller here on Garage Sale who sell R1 gamecard. There should be no problem for vita gamecard (Somehow, i prefer you preorder it from them when it is not out yet, so that you can guarantee to have it later / not out of stock)

So, the updates if on the gamecard itself, you may still got it. But if the update come from PSN Store such as costume dlc, pack, item etc, you wont be able to get the update.

And for the online part, if the gamecard use "online pass" thingy, you cannot use it all because it will be useless since you are R1, the online pass for R3. The thing is, it cannot be use and you will be unable to online (terms for game that have "online pass")

But if the game does not have "online pass" it will have some differences. Some game can play with R1 player, and some game only can play with the gamecard region which is mean that if R3 gamecard, you only able to play online with R3 player, although you are on R1 account. But still, you can play online.

By that mean, all save file you should backup to your pc first. If not, then bye bye for that.

No problem, but if you do not have money to buy the new memory card, just copy the file to your pc by using Content Manager Assistant and Content Manager Apps from your Vita device.

Only the problem is, some file may not have save file separated from the game, so kinda afraid when you delete the game from the vita, your save file also gone.

So if you going for PS+, the cloud save game is very usable thing to have.

If you do not care about save data, trophy and digital game that you might already bought for ps vita on current region, you just need to format and wipe clean the ps vita system. It was easy though to change id.

Err... Not sure you know or not, you must format you ps vita device although you just want to change memory card with another SEN id. After the 1.80 firmware update, changing SEN id required you to format the device and wipe clean to factory setting. No more just deativated current account like it used to before the firmware update.

Reset in term of vita device is wipe clean to factory setting. That you should know. So,there is difficulty if you afraid of losing save file and related data. Unless you have PS+ or copied file to PC/Laptop through CMA. It is not easy to do that, though. Beause some save data are not save in memory card. You might lose it.

Save data is the only thing that we need to be carefull. Others thing such as apps etc restore in memory card. If you buy hardcopy version of some games, possibility of safe file can be inside game card, rather than memory card. You might want to google that. So before changing id, quick do the safe file copied to something else. If not, bye bye. Lol

Sound Shapes and Mutant Blobs Attack is "digital only game" for R1 Region. I think it the same for R3 Region too.

If you do not care about the ps3 on itself, i say choose US account for Vita. PS+ for vita just now got 5 free game: Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Wipeout 2048, Mutant Blob and psp game FF Tactic. Grab the game before the period end.

First, you need to click download on those free games first. So that it will automatically be on your download list later (if the free game period end)

Install Content Manager Assistant (CMA) from Sony Web to your PC/LAPTOP. Finished download one game, then copy the game from Content Manager Apps on Vita to your PC/LAPTOP using wifi/usb using the CMA.

Do repeat step above

There you go... Play game happily. Haha, Just dont forget to save on cloud the "SAVE FILE" before deleted the game you have play.
