QUOTE(velma @ Feb 7 2012, 02:41 PM) no idea but i got myself a 3 years warranty. but until now i don't have any desire yet to change phone. maybe that's because im holding my desire hd all the time. i have a 5 year warranty and plan to use till this phone expires (the phone, not the warranty), use it till it breaks. I have a galaxy y which is a company phone with company line, plan to use it to do wifi hotspot for my T. Prime when stocks reach here this month. Not planning to buy another HTC because I hate the display, i swore i won't even consider any HTC devices until they give us a better display. If i need a new phone it would probably be the Nexus, my brother has one and it's just amazing |

QUOTE(mavericksam @ Feb 8 2012, 02:26 PM) Well you can be sure of that coz HTC would no longer be using LCD display but AMOLED... oh u mean the htc ville, good news then but the design of their phones is still fugly, i know it's a HTC signature but after I've handled the Nexus, although it's made from plastic, but the feel of the thing is just unforgettable, it looks really beautiful and classy. Not to mention i'm kinda addicted to the pure android experience (without the need of rooting and flashing). Somehow I lost all interest in all phones that has it's manufacturer's UI (skin), especially the fugly touchwiz that spoils the beautiful ICS UI, even if the phone has a quad core inside.but for me, i am looking forward to the upcoming SIII... QUOTE(mavericksam @ Feb 8 2012, 02:57 PM) frankly speaking, i agree with you on the UI part... but rooting is part of the fun... i mean rooting to get (flash) vanilla android roms. i'll still root the Nexus if i ever had one, just no need to flash custom roms and can get super fast updates. I'll still keep my DHD if it's still running after 5 years, if it still got custom rom developments going on.Not looking to use the touchwiz too... so rooting is the only choice... G nexus wasn't a choice coz i won't be able to use it as a usb drive... QUOTE(iamkent @ Feb 8 2012, 03:56 PM) that why HTC VILLE is everyone next target for jump ship ~ if it's priced so high, no one would buy it, because phones are becoming cheaper and cheaper, it can't compete!wondering when it release and price should be RM2400++ i think ! real cant wait for amoled HTC ! |

QUOTE(ccgenius @ Feb 24 2012, 06:16 PM) QUOTE(andydavids @ Feb 24 2012, 07:13 PM) i just started to use this rom this afternoon.. just flashed it, so far so good. as for the camera, it's a bit faster than gingerbread one. the only let down is can't do video recording and panorama pics, that's it. ICS is REALLY sweet, but i'm not used to the dialer, can't just press the numbers and ppl names appear, must click the search button to find pplhavent really test it yet... as for the camera, i'll check and see how it is... |

QUOTE(jon (" @ ),Mar 3 2012, 07:22 PM) after some reading they say ICS still has some lil prob and bugs. so im planning to use the Virtuous Rom Affinity. Not sure if its any good anot. any of you guys using it ? ICS has a bit of problem in the camera (and some of them video playback) department, other than that, it's almost perfect, it's really worth it |

QUOTE(iamkent @ Mar 7 2012, 04:35 PM) the best for me now is Ascension ICS, although there are a few minor bugs, but overall, it'll beat any gingerbread rom in almost every aspect, especially battery life. not to mention stability and response after long usage with tons of scrollable widgets. i'm never going back to gingerbread after trying out ICS, they aren't even in the same page anymore, ICS is a whole new ball game |

QUOTE(polarzbearz @ Mar 11 2012, 06:00 PM) Used Virtuous Quattro RC3 ICS ROM for almost few weeks, enjoyed it very much but kinda annoyed by minor bugs (especially camera).. decided to flash back to ARHD 7.02 (Gingerbread + Sense 3.5).. can't u use a 3rd party camera app? I'm using Ascension and the camera also quite buggy, disable it and now using Camera Zoom FX (which i bought during the 10c promotion), everything is GOOOOOOOD.....Meanwhile on flashing, I tried to use the Clockworkmod Touch Recovery and seems that it's pretty buggy. SUPER Wipe halfway, error. ROM haven't even start installing, error. Quickly went back to FASTBOOT and flashed the normal Clockworkmod recovery and everything's solved.. Anyway, hello to all the old DHD owners that are still active here Added on March 12, 2012, 11:00 am QUOTE(eddmecha @ Mar 12 2012, 09:22 AM) hi guys its been a while since i check this thread...so have any good new rom?i have been on RCMix3d since dunno when already hahaha been a bit bored with this rom already hahaha ICS roms? try it, no regretsThis post has been edited by stormlcc: Mar 12 2012, 11:00 AM |

QUOTE(Norameen @ Apr 10 2012, 08:44 PM) From the review...it looks very2 nice...smooth...and user friendly...play music n u can control while screen off is awesome..wonder if the include beats integrated... wifi hotspot doesn't work, that is a deal breaker for me. better use other roms (vanilla) because it works, and Sense 4.0 isn't as intuitive as vanilla, tried it on the One X and I hated it |

for those of you who want vanilla ICS rom u can try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1576500
i'm using it, camera, panorama and camcorder works! the only lag i can find on it is in the app drawer widget section, other than that it really is very very good |
