hello fellow DHD user, i have a problem here.
phone freeze at sudden, press power button no respond, phone like dead but i tried call from another phone can hear ringing (caller side) while the DHD is "dead", means the phone is still running

have to force close by taking out battery, sometimes it just freeze while im using it, the screen just stuck right there.

has anyone face this problem before?
sometimes after i restart phone the time will back to january 1980...im wondering is this hardware problem, emmc burn?

my DHD warranty going to expire next month, i had previously root and install custom gingerbread 2.3 rom
i forgot what method i used to root but remember it was before htc OTA to lock rom, i flash from froyo 2.2 stock rom

question now, what should i do to unroot/en-s on /radio s- on my phone?
because i root my phone way before htc lock rom is there any simpler method?

My sister's phone is quite troublesome. The battery got stucked inside, won't slide out even a bit. Tried knocking the phone on the side softly but still stuck. Google doesn't helped either. So anyone has suggestions? Other than going to the shop.

I meet some problem for send/receive mms
Already tried the APN setting found around the net but still unable to use the mms.
Is there any other method other than I bring it to Maxis center to ask them setting for me?

sorry, i'm not waiting for spoon feed or what but it was just been a while since i last touch the phone, 1yr++ and the way i used to root was kinda different i guess...

mine device is s-off now, still can flash rom from cwm recovery (just tried jellytime R28, like it very much), after tried different rom the problem still exist, so i suspect it is hardware issue.

try take out the battery cover lid, then knock it like ppl knocking cigarette pack
1 way to know if this work is knocking it while phone is on, if the battery slide then it will off

mine 1 also stuck inside coz the sticker on the battery too thick doh.gif

I faced the same issue as you before, which is the black screen of death. Phone suddenly died and won't turn on unless you take out battery.

All this while I thought it's jellytime ROM issue, since this problem was posted on that thread. I haven't tried other ROM since I like the jellytime.

You mean, use other more stable ROM also have this issue??

The freeze one i also kena once before. Was playing music that time. Suddenly freeze and non respond. Again need to reset by taking out battery. Once the speaker totally died, and I thought ROM issue so i flashed the latest one, but turn out need to reset by taking out battery.. sweat.gif

Before this Jellytime ROM, other various ROMs i tested don't have these issue, just occasional sudden restart which is normal for custom ROM..haha.

since sanyo enoloop had 5000 mAh, and our battery is 1230 mA, might be can be charge 3 times.

Didn't really count.
