There is no "best".
If you are able to get sufficiently good results for A Levels, then A Levels would be appropriate. If you could do that for SAM, SAM would be appropriate and so on. The cheapest way is to get a full scholarship to do Pre-U (not as common but still possible). |

The cheapest I believe is through A lvl in TARC. But the easiest way to enter should be MUFY.

Australian universities are very flexible on accepting pre-u qualifications. It doesn't matter if you take STPM/A-Level/SAM etc. as long as you have the results. If you want it to be cheap other than STPM then you'll be looking at the pre-u with 1 year durations though you can't say they are cheap but there are places around with more affordable prices if you shop around. What is "cheap" for you? |

The easiest way to enter would probably be MUFY...which is deemed to be one of the most easiest Pre-U course out there compared to SAM/A-levels/STPM.

MUFY or monash college... but is it the best? i wouldnt say so.. i took mufy and believe it is overpriced
i would recommend SAM at taylors instead... do not do a-lvls cause it will take up more of ur time either SAM/CIMP/AUSMAT... 1 year pre-u courses |

Once I went there asking them is taking MUFY will be granted privilege over other pre-Us? But they told me no... its fair and square to all the pre-Us and yea so there is no simple methods to get in. YOu still have to work hard in any of the pre-U to get in.

I still don't get this MUFY-guaranteed placement in Monash if grades are met thing.
Fristly, how difficult is it to get into Monash normally? It's not Harvard. Are you in such a bad shape that you need something like this to make sure you get into a normal average university? Secondly, if you're so scared that you won't do well in any other pre-u to get into Monash, so much so that you are choosing a program that explicitly guarantees placement at the provider school, you should be asking yourself if you could survive in university or more importantly, is going to university the right decision? |

The best option is to take a one year course beginning in Jan and ending in November. You will be able to get into Monash by next Feb, thus saving any "redundant" period.
The only setback is that places may have been fully taken up before your results are out, unless you are one of the top scorers and you are more or less "guaranteed" a place. |

The best way to enter Monash Malaysia is probably MUFY. But that may not be the most wise way of getting into other universities. |

QUOTE(zstan @ Dec 13 2011, 10:56 AM) That's the same for all legit universities. Monash is not unique.I'm assuming that 'get out' means graduate successfully with a degree. QUOTE(PradaLee @ Dec 13 2011, 11:31 AM) Where are the places fully taken up? Are you referring to MUFY or SAM or some other courses? Budget max 10k? Well 15-20 years ago, that would be enough for SAM/CPU at Taylor's. Today if you want to only spend just 10k in the klang valley, you would have to go to TARC to do A-levels or STPM. Added on December 13, 2011, 11:33 am Which among SAM/CIMP/AUSMAT do you recommend and why? Added on December 13, 2011, 11:35 am Looking for cheaper alternatives compared to A-Levels, which is above 20k right? My budget is max 10k. You could do some chop palang no name/no brand program(which could be less than 10k) from some small private college but if you are aiming to get into Monash or elsewhere, it's best to stick to SAM/CPU/A-levels/STPM. |

do note that if you score lots of a+ in spm, there are scholarships, where you can get variable amount of waiver of fees..... for example, if you get 10a+, it is a virtual complete waiver in taylor's.....it gets less stringent as you go down the pecking order of pre-u colleges....
