I still don't get this MUFY-guaranteed placement in Monash if grades are met thing.

Fristly, how difficult is it to get into Monash normally? It's not Harvard. Are you in such a bad shape that you need something like this to make sure you get into a normal average university?

Secondly, if you're so scared that you won't do well in any other pre-u to get into Monash, so much so that you are choosing a program that explicitly guarantees placement at the provider school, you should be asking yourself if you could survive in university or more importantly, is going to university the right decision?

Monash is easy to get in but nobody can say its easy to get out smile.gif

That's the same for all legit universities. Monash is not unique.
I'm assuming that 'get out' means graduate successfully with a degree.

Where are the places fully taken up? Are you referring to MUFY or SAM or some other courses?

Which among SAM/CIMP/AUSMAT do you recommend and why?

Looking for cheaper alternatives compared to A-Levels, which is above 20k right? My budget is max 10k.

Budget max 10k? Well 15-20 years ago, that would be enough for SAM/CPU at Taylor's. Today if you want to only spend just 10k in the klang valley, you would have to go to TARC to do A-levels or STPM.
You could do some chop palang no name/no brand program(which could be less than 10k) from some small private college but if you are aiming to get into Monash or elsewhere, it's best to stick to SAM/CPU/A-levels/STPM.
