I've cleared the important/key quests for village high-ranked 6-star quests, but still have not unlocked 7-star.

The key quests from the holy bible (MHTriG wiki link @ first page) was to complete these:-
1. Purple Ludroth (emergency)
2. Dosfurogi
3. Heart Rathian
4. Barroth

As for the delivery requests for the chief's son, it's left with the DLC requests only (Keroro & Pirate-J).

lucky u, i'm still stuck at hr 1 (super thanks to kurupeko, summoning rathian over for a game of dodge-fireball...)

village quest wise,

1. left the head-banging dude with kut-ku staff aside due to the huge wall-o-text he's producing
2. can't complete jaggi set (frill not dropping...), but oddly completed the moe moe aoashira set
3. how do you guys navigate under water?? still bad at it even with pad
4. charms, they just won't get into my inventory... ended up selling them every time

If my memory served me right, the second analog is the one that gives you direction when you swim. Example if your move your camera up using second analog so you will swim upward, and the opposite applies. Your analog on your 3ds only moves forward only. Damn still can't find beginners pack.

And what good does 87 guild cards bring you?

rage quitted few times because the quest failed when blaardy lagiacrus died in water (i supposed to capture it)

in each and every fight it'll be in water, swimming slowly while charging here and there (which reminded me of plessy-the-troll in 2G, that did the same thing)

i think imma rub some sh!t onto it's body so it'll move out of the water and nicely step on the trap so i can cap it!!!

Try wait for the fellar to go sleep when it's limping. THEN GIVE IT THE SHOCK OF IT'S LIFE by putting a shock trap right under it's sorry arse. Cap and profit!

Monsters recover from traps quicker if you've used a trap on them in the quest though, so if you have to, bring pitfall and shock.
