QUOTE(desertkids @ Dec 13 2011, 04:16 PM) im cheapskate 1 credit card quota oso cnt finish.. AMEX can use at caltex/shell too.. Not too sure bout those two....have been using ESSO/MOBIL only for the past 10 years..... Well, its a good way to get back some moolahs....tho' both are capped at RM1000 for the Cash Back.... Thus RM1000 spent on either cards relates to you paying only RM950 at the end of the billing statement..... This post has been edited by Xai-V-iaX: Dec 13 2011, 04:25 PM

QUOTE(Poadster @ Dec 13 2011, 07:47 PM) 1st choice: Advanti Breytons at RM2080... 18 2nd choice: Advanti Daytona at RM1980... 18 4rd chioce: Ori Advanti licenced by ENKEI at RM1980.... 18 Ori OZ on offer at RM2550.... 18 Ori OZ on offer at RM2050.... 17 Am poisoning myself too much..... or maybe get 17 coz rims and tyres are cheaper.... I just might go for the 18" OZ X-LINE LOUNGE 10.... tho I had advice from someone that the OZ X-LINE series are kinda heavy....not sure of the weight but was told that they are just a tad lil' heavier....

QUOTE(Poadster @ Dec 13 2011, 07:56 PM) Looks wicked tho..... Am deciding between these rims.... sigh.... Truth to be said...its them rubber price that will kill us....a good set of 18" tires would set us back atleast RM500++ (...and that's already being generous in the pricing). Real good ones can hit us atleast RM600+++ Just a general guide on them rubber pricing from AUTOWORLD's Forum 215/45R18 Goodyear F1 Directional 5 - RM540.00 Quicksave USJ (Sep'11) Nexen N8000 - RM498.50 Quicksave USJ (Oct'11)
225/45R18 Falken ZE912 - RM470 Ron Hwa, Kampung Jawa (Feb 11) Goodyear F1 D5 - RM680 Penang (Sep 11) Goodyear F1 Directional 5 - RM608.00 Quicksave USJ (Sep'11) Hankook V12 Evo - RM620 Auto City Tyre, Shah Alam (Nov'11) Hankook S1Evo - RM650 Auto City Tyre, Shah Alam (Nov'11) Michelin Primacy - RM840 Prai (Sep 11)...and we haven't seen the rest of the pricing - Them PS3s, TOYOs & etc.....

QUOTE(Poadster @ Dec 13 2011, 08:07 PM) Thus my biggest reason to consider 17s.... them rims are one time investment and lasts as long as the car itself (if you take care of them).... it's them rubbers that kills....    Yea lad.....that's what is holding me back too.... Dilemma either to go for 18" (my own self satisfaction) or 17" (for them moolahs in the wallet's satisfaction) This post has been edited by Xai-V-iaX: Dec 13 2011, 08:19 PM

Want ask leather wrap also susah You can get hold of this guy Putra282 from PRINZ AUTO SERVICES. He lives around my area. Have had a couple of deals with him ....and he's been in the leather wrapping business for quite some time. Good workmanship as well.... Am not sure if he has DK-Schweizer European Leather like Damonzero but the materials he uses aren't bad as well - Italian & Brazilian Leather....

Ok...just for sharing purpose with you guys on the comparison of the tyre size changes option versus our stock tires... I compared our stock tyre specs against 1- 215/45/17 2- 215/50/17 3- 215/45/18 4- 225/45/18And just as an reminder/note to all - When changing tire sizes, its recommended staying within 3% of the diameter of the original tire. Any more than this and you face the risk of brake failure. Source: www.1010tires.com Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(MeToo @ Dec 14 2011, 12:19 AM) Nice... notice the Lancer GT/Lancer Sportback's 215/45/18 almost exactly same diameter as our stock (lancer EX's). Also noticed something.... their tyre... despite being 18"... only cost like ~RM80~100 more then the 17".... very very minor difference.... wtf... i thought it would be like ~300 more each.... Feasible option apparently slants towards them 215/45/18 rubbers tho' you'll have a sum of finger gap between the tires & fender (unless yer ride is lowered).... Speedometer Difference of +0.271% when going for the above option is the best among all the 4 compared and with a Diameter Difference of +0.28% is definitely a safe bet.
