Guess what....I asked 2 'famous' shops. 1 in Jln Ipoh & the other in USJ on trade-in for my soon to come out 2.0's rims & tyres....

The 1st quoted me RM1.1k and the 2nd quoted me RM1k.... tongue.gif

More surveying to be done...

i survey over 10+ shop in rawang

ask for 17 replica and c drive 215/50/r17

trade in 1.2k
rim 1800
tire 1400
rm2k to top up

trade in rm1k
rim 1600
tire 1360
rm1960 to top up

trade in rm500
rim 1300
tire 1360
rm2160 to top up

trade in rm1500
rim 1900
tire 1500
rm2k to top up

conclusion? trade in high or low base on the price he is selling , the finally price after minus the trade in price, not much different.
*
All same Rims & Tires is it bro....?

Did you manage to ask this one shop in Rawang - V Care Tyre & Services?

Thanks for sharing this. Give me an idea of the range that I would be paying if I would have to change to 17". Can say the sweet spot is RM2k.
*
Yea...same here....Minimum RM2k in hand in order to get a replica 17"....so for others need to standby quite a sum... nod.gif

Plan to go for 17" due to comfort level + budget. But I'm really worried bout if the suspension / absorber have issues I won't be able to claim the warranty.. Guess there is risk to be taken to make the car looks good.
*
Well, its a risk all of us have to take yea....

Or maybe I'll wait for my 1k KM service before changing them wheels....

Get a feel of the OEM setting & comfort and then decide on if to take 17" or 18".....

Haha.. been reading a lot of comment that the 18" ride is definitely a lot more harsh. Some even revert back to 17". But it does make the car looks good. I either change it straight after getting the car or remain stock for at least a year. Just started working not that long, good idea to save up some money first.. haha
*
Good idea....even my first car last time (before starting work mind you) took me bout' a year before I changed them wheels.... nod.gif

that list useless one, some name existed from version 1, i suggest remove it, and direct put owner name in owner list, no need future owner list.
*
Yea...gotta agree with you on that....

It should be straight owners' listings.... nod.gif

...and it would be good to refresh the list again...

NZH,

i went to klang, all in all, i top up rm2600, and i get 215/50/17, Michelin PS3.

which is way better than C drive.

well, i have C drive in my myvi, its better than other energy saving tyre, but its not performance tyre.

PS3 well, its PS3 wink.gif playstation ma

ok, maybe my rim not very power. biggrin.gif
*
How much your OEM rims fetched mate?

Them PS3 rubbers are definitely something compared to the others....

Yea was told that a set of Inspira wheels with 2K KM mileage fetched RM1k....

...thus brand new off the showroom wheels should fetch more I guess....

Eh.. this one is ORI Jap rim? New or recond?
ENKEI TUNING rims are all made in Taiwan. They are original ENKEI indeed but they're made in Taiwan to compensate its cheaper cost.

so, the enkei tuning is about ....rm2k? sounds good eh.

replica dunno can trust or not
Well they aren't replica to begin with....

They are indeed ORIGINAL ENKEI rims....but instead of being made in Japan, they are made in Taiwan by their authorized appointed manufacturer - thus the rebranding to ENKEI TUNING....
