QUOTE(miuk @ Dec 13 2011, 11:31 PM) 1.5kg weight savings from rim x4 = 6kg. Throw away spare tire already more than kau tim it. Keep tank at half mark will already save 25kg. Best still, driver lose weight by 10kg Chabutzzz kuat kuat.... tire use smaller size .. width... save more traction .. can touch 230 km/h i think chabutzzzzzzzzzzz kau kau

Saving weight at the wheel have a much bigger impact then saving weight on the car itself, its like each KG saved at the wheel is liek 3~4k on the car itself. This wheel below.... recond de size ngam ngam.. only RM2100 Is Ray's GramLights edition This post has been edited by MeToo: Dec 13 2011, 11:34 PM Attached thumbnail(s)

Ya offset kinda off (no pun intended) but the price is attractive... so i reckon others within same range should be aroudn that price... I have a thing for Rays product... Havent decide.. waiting for my friend to send me photo of some rims... can get "brother" price for cheaper see his goods first lor... I was surfing Rays site for rims.. then my wife come over "Har? New car wan change rims liao?!"... I was like.. sei for lor this time.... then she sat down and start giving opinion which one nicer

Ok...just for sharing purpose with you guys on the comparison of the tyre size changes option versus our stock tires... I compared our stock tyre specs against 1- 215/45/17 2- 215/50/17 3- 215/45/18 4- 225/45/18And just as an reminder/note to all - When changing tire sizes, its recommended staying within 3% of the diameter of the original tire. Any more than this and you face the risk of brake failure. Source: www.1010tires.com Attached thumbnail(s)

For me, I'll just re-paint the ori rim and use same spec Michelin tyres (maybe PS3).

Also noticed something.... their tyre... despite being 18"... only cost like ~RM80~100 more then the 17".... very very minor difference.... wtf... i thought it would be like ~300 more each.... Not diff much also for the height. yes... 55 MUCH more option... but if u compare the price with say 17"... its minor.. like 30~50 bucks I feel so sor hai... now only realise price difference between 16" , 17" , 18" tyres very minor difference.. its the fragging 19" that price easily x2.5... Feasible option apparently slants towards them 215/45/18 rubbers tho' you'll have a sum of finger gap between the tires & fender (unless yer ride is lowered).... Speedometer Difference of +0.271% when going for the above option is the best among all the 4 compared and with a Diameter Difference of +0.28% is definitely a safe bet.
