Guys, I need help on how to get my suggie into bonding pouch. She seems to struggling to get away when I tried to put her into bonding bag. She only wants to hang on me, sitting on my shoulder and do not want to play/exercise. I always let her loose in my room so that she can familiar with her surrounding but keeps climbing on me and just want to hang on me.

How old is she? If she's still new to you, relax & let her be familiar with her new environment. They need time too to adapt too.

Mine is the opposite, always run & hide into anywhere dark that she can find. Doesn't want to sit on me =(

She is 5 months old and was given to me by a friend when she is 3 months old. Spent 3-4 hours with her on daily basis so far trying to get her trust and bonding with her. Unfortunately using bonding pouch don't seems to work well so far.

She is very picky with food also, I tried to give HPW complete (Bugsy brand with purple color label) with she did not like it very much. Currently I gave her fruits, pieces of chicken, hard boiled egg and dried fruits. She also like to eat tuna (its a packet cat food) but I seldom gave her as I think it is not a suitable for her but good source of protein. I really want her to take HPW as it is more suitable for her.

Any advice is much welcomed.

Well, you seems to be doing fine, keep it up.

Giver her & yourself more time, some people took more than a year to really bond with their glider. Bonding pouch is more for bonding while she's asleep during the day. You can still bond by playing with her daily.

Don't give up easily, their taste buds can change like us. Today she may not like HPW, but next month she might love it. So continue giving her lotsa variety of foods to eat. But remember to give papaya & bak choy more frequent since they're high in calcium.

my Blackjack's penis has been out for a couple of days now.. heard it's normal when it's their mating season for the penis to be out all the time.. but what i don't think is normal is that ... one end is in normal pinkish red in colour whereas another end seems to be darker in colour.... like dark red or almost black..

No, it's not normal to be dark in colour. Might be injured, better get it checked.

Make sure air minuman dia sentiasa ada so bila dia nak minum air tu dh tersedia ada.

Good luck.

if the glider look weak, please give him some Gatorade, it will help him to recover too...

if you could find some veggie would be nice..

and please make sure u give him fresh water to yeah (not tap water)... in a hamster water bottle will be suffice..

so pity of him lost and scared.. and pity the previous owner too....

i just wanna share my below video with you all..

sugar gliders are really smart animals... i had 3 before...

1 (baby boy) opened the cage door and escaped through the window... sad.gif

1 (cici) squeezed thru the cage somehow and escaped through the window as well sad.gif *sigh*

so now, i'm left with 1 suggie (baby girl) and here i tot she doesn't know how to escape like the 2, but i was wrong... she knew the trick all along... just that, after roaming around at night, she will squeeze back into her cage before sunrise... wub.gif

although she will return home after playing, i'm still afraid of losing her... so i bought a new cage for her after catching her red handed last night sweat.gif i think she has been doing this for at least 2 weeks already, because i see things that were supposed to be on the desk, fell to the ground hmm.gif i tot it was the work of lizard or cockroach shakehead.gif

Females that are above 1yo r ok to breed. They mature at this age n will be able to take good care if the joeys.

Heya, u remember her OOP Date?

i was thinking feeding my gliders for worms,
previously i fed superworm for them, but my male glider tried 1 superworm then he seems scare of it, then he never eat again, at last the female took all.

I heard ppl said superworm will bite gliders, so it's better to feel mealworm
however i heard mealworm's phosphorus very high.

so i doesn't know what to feed for them dy.

Worms are junk foods to them gliders.

If they love it, you give them worms to spoil them once in a while.

But if you can avoid giving worms, that will be better. Give them something healthier.

You can try to spoil your gliders with yogurt drops instead.
