Hai kae7
In option-device-app management, memory there's are Application (all), Application Storage, Memory now, Application Storage, Usage today, CPU now. Which one is to closed the app that I don't need?

When I press the blackberry logo the option menu came out wz a few app that is I think frequent use like: home, option, setup, blackberry app world, yahoo msger, fb, phone, messages, browser and bb messenger.

Still don't know how and where to close some app that I don't need.

Kae7 can you guide me, sorry still new in this blackberry.

Many thanks in advance.

Added on February 1, 2012, 10:27 pmOh yea and one more thing is the battery life S**ks big times. Unplug from charging at 11am and by 10pm it shows 27%. Use 2G all time and only make and received a few calls not more then 10. FB ing every 2 hours for update, a few what apps and SMS. Don't think is a lot of usage right hehehe. When I busy I usually received and make more then 20 calls a day.

battery life..? well I can't help much, it is just need to configure/tweak the settings, and so on.. but since you have buy the high capacity battery, thats okay smile.gif

In option-device-app management, memory >> it shows you how much the apps use the memory.. not to close it..

to close it, as I stated before.. u need hold the blackberry logo button.. and then.. choose any unused apps..

then.. press the blackberry button again [in the apps that you want to close] , then.. choose exit .. if not 'exit' you can choose close..

there are also apps that can't close.. smile.gif

Just got my BB a black American Icon case. Can't believe how good it looks compared to the cheapo one I used earlier. Even my hubby who's usually not that observant, noticed how gorgeous my phone looks with its new baju rclxms.gif

The BB Button displays the opened apps. Just press on those apps and press the BB button once and look for the word Exit or Close. Some applications will not fully close if 'Close' is selected, so just hit Exit.

Apps that cannot be closed are Home, BBM, Internet Browse ,Messages and Phone. The rest can be closed by hitting Exit.

are u understand my post before..? sad.gif

anyway.. when you hold the bb button.. you can see the apps that still running..

Home , message , phone , Blackberry Messenger , Browsers << apps that you can't close completely ..

they will still running on background..

if there are apps other than this that running background, you may close it..

1. Press and Hold the blackberry logo button
2. Enter to any apps that you want to exit/close
3. press the blackberry logo button
4. choose exit , if no exit.. choose close ..

May drain more battery life. Some apps consume alot of battery if not closed properly. You will realize when your phone gets warmer biggrin.gif

1) Uninstall everything related with BlackBerry on your pc.

2) Install BlackBerry Desktop Software version 7.0.0.32 beta download link

3) Install the new OS on your computer.

4) Delete vendor.xml (usually located at C:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader)

5) connect usb wit ur blackberry and run Loader.exe (located at previous folder)

6) wait till its done.

Is this the step I need to follow to upgrade my OS?
This morning already install the blackberry desktop, and just updated the new OS just like that. I feel some things is wrong but dunno where, so far my bb is running fine I guess coz just 2 days old only hehehe.
What should I do now?
