should be ... but tunggu la... when there is more crowd and consistent attendance then i can propose to SMX fella to give some gadgets to review and play with ... then in return u guys also must try to support and push customer to his shop la then only he will continue to "sponsor" us ..

u don't have play mp3 .. you can convert it to CD tracks if you want ..LOL

finally got the carpenter to come to my house to take some measurements to make my DJ console.. woohoo !! hopefully can be ready in 2 weeks or so and i should be getting my gears back into my room... and then can practise my DJ-ing ..

nothing fancy for me .. just like a table top with drawers at the bottom and maybe some vinyls and speaker space..

in malaysia .. there is almost no rules ... yes copyright is the issue but most of the people don't really care..
i know DJs that uses mp3 tracks for this set... one reason ... it's easy to get songs ..2ndly .. most of those hitz are not on CD but remixed by some other unknown dj from another part of the world ..

the only problem would be illegally downloaded song are usually mp3 quality or lower quality and playing it in the club without some "clean up" might be a bad idea ...

seems that the vestax pdx feet is a very common problem.. always broken .. i think your best bet is oversea's website ..

just when my custom made dj console is coming, cost of living went up ... i guess i will have to sell my DJ set up including my new dj console for cover the cost..LOL

haha no la .. joking only ... no way i gonna sell it .. cuz it's hard for to to get it all ....
i shipped this all the way back from Australia and i won't let it go so easily .. i guess it's time to return to Australia .. keke ..

somehow i got this idea of using another turntable
1 turntable = Beat
2nd turntable = accapella ( for vocals and scratching ....)
3rd = to mix the new song in ...

so live remix ...

i don't get it .. ... what session ?
i forgot what the name but my Rane TTM-56 has the port for effect pedals or effector kit .....and can control the amount of effect it can put on the audio ...

not suitable for karaoke because it doesn't have a echo effect which is good for karaoke ..
but of cuz it's ok if you just want to do it for fun .. or MC-ing over your set ....
the other day i was in Genting and walk past a club , the DJ was "singing" ... and it was horrible and spoiling the songs .. like OMG WTF ....
if he would to rap .. it will be better but not singing ... it was so out of tune ... LOL ...

so if you going to MC over your set, please don't sing unless you got good vocals ... other than that.. you can say a one liner or rap ... which will sound good without the echo effect ...
