there is a switch on it for phono or line ..
when i was setting up with xtothed's CDJ .. i forgot to switch over.. so the setup wasn't working for like 5 mins until i figured out what was wrong ..

so gathering this weekend?

erm mixvibes ah?
have to set the .. "bitrate" or something .. cannot rememeber.. sampling etc
my u46Dj can go down to 128 or 256 .. .. 3miliseconds respone time
so maybe yours can go down to 512 .. like that
the lower the better

u go under AUDIO setup ..

try muting your soundcard ..
otherwise i not sure how to mute because .. for my soundcard.. i mute it using the software provided ..
if u mute from window's control panel .. then i not sure will it still work ...LOL

saya tidak pergi ingat every single steps in mixvibes.. i can refer to my laptop .. but for now ... my laptop not on etc.... so quite malas..
give me a couple of hours and hopefully later i boot up my laptop and check where to set the bitrate .. ok? bersabar yea ..? kalau tak u buzz me on MSN later..

by all means .. go get SSL .. Mixvibes is hard to set up if you don't know what you are doing ..
even though i'm a mixvibes supported .. lol .. i would recomend SSL or Torq as it's easier to get support/parts ..

are you using ASIO4All driver?
i think your MAYA should have a control panel where you can "mute" it so you won't hear the "EEEEEE" Sound...

this is my ASIO setup on mixvibes





westokan .. refering to the same image , the "Control Panel" at the bottom will bring me to my asio setup for the "BUFFER SIZE" to reduce the latency.

Added on May 26, 2008, 11:12 pmthis could be that u did not set the channel properly... look at your software and look if you can see any single digit number "1" ..
usually labeled as Out / Output ... if u can click on that and if the number change to "2" then .. player should remain 1 ... and player two should now be "2" .....

if u hear two channel playing when the fader is on one side means the outputs of both players has be "pushed" to the same Line thus hearing two sides and when the crossfader is moved over to "Channel 2" it's silent due to nothing is going out to Channel 2 ..

vinyl 1 is no good

u cannot record using your mayaUSB .. u got no more input ...
in order to record ..
your output of your mixer should go directly into a recording device

either use your desktop to record ... or use another laptop to record ..

i got spare la ... tapi it's my spare ..
i got 2 old .. + 3 new ..for my spare .. susah dapat .. hard to sell to you la ..

speed ... last guide that u have to refer .. if cannot work .. i don't know already cuz this guide is specially for your maya

you can use the "MIC-in" to record but quality might not be as good ... my BenQ S41 got its own LINE-IN .. so it's good for recording
