What?! Gosh... I'm leaving Kelana at 6.30pm. Hope I can reach there before 7pm

I'm going there for a class ^____^ so it's okay, but will probably do some workout at the freestyle area afterwards. I'll definitely be late... class starts at 6.45pm and outright impossible for me to reach there before 7pm with the jam.

Btw is there are any specific area I should park so that it's nearer to FF? I was told to park anywhere, take lift up to C (concourse) and I'll reach.

OMG so complicated *panicking* is there any sign/ marking near the 'next building' parking for me to recognize? Btw why next building? Isn't FF inside Axis itself? The basement is just 'B' no B1 or B2...?

Aaaaah okay, thanks for the clarification. But when I park in the next building, it will bring me directly to FF right? And one last question, is the parking there safe/ okay? I understand all parking areas are not 'safe' but at least it isn't dark, very quiet and creepy? I'm hoping that there's at least some guards around, brightly lit, CCTV, some minor traffic in the carpark (people getting their car, leaving, entering the building etc).

I was there yesterday... thanks a lot for the tips on where to park. But hmmm the basement is kinda eerie... a lot of machines but pretty old ya? The GX class is quite small too, making is pretty cramped and stuffy. I was told that Axis is the second FF built in Malaysia (the first outlet being Manulife)... if that's the case, not surprised that the facilities is a little old, even so, seems like they did a pretty decent job maintaining the place

I was hesitating a lot - this one? that one? go in? lift? lol. Luckily my friend arrived earlier and I called him up (sent him the info you provided me in the forum) to double check before I enter.

Yeah the pantry area looks like cafe style and pretty small too. But I guess decent enough to visit again for special class yoga and rpm room very spacious though!

i like the yoga room, it's really nice. GL on your sun salutation, forgot how to do it after a long time not going for yoga.

KBT has both hardly use though. Prefer sauna over steam.

Same like KOHIT, i'm also paying RM201 (inclusive of 6% GST). Parking shouldn't cost you too much, how many hours do you plan to workout in a day? And how many days you're going to gym in a week?

If I'm not mistaken, Empire costs RM2 for 2 hours? That's what I've been paying when I'm there. Aeon Bkt Tinggi much cheaper on weekday, only RM1 because 1st hour is free.

FF Platinum is expensive if you're Home/ Passport membership then it's much cheaper (then again, I didn't know how much since I signed up for Plat).

Yeah if you're not into classes, anytime is fine. I'm always in a rush to leave office and I'd get ticked off when someone calls me at 6.25pm.

Omg house membership cheap! I've got a friend who only enrol for weekend membership (allows you to go in on Friday evening, Sat & Sun) costs her RM120 permonth.

Come come haha. When were you last there? Right now GXM okay, place still same same small. Apparently a lot of 'legend' (old timer) instructors no longer teaching in kbt because too far. They so called renovated the freestyle area but looks the same to me. Did relocate some of the machines though

Agree with ya, paying more for FF because of their location and it seems there's less issues/ problem with FF. I spoke to someone who used to come from TF and CF management and according to this person, FF is better as they're more service oriented. The former 2 clubs have a i-don't-care attitude (club and staffs).

Exactly. I wouldn't be happy to hear someone from Platinum A branch paying less than me for membership fee. I'd definitely raise this with the management. End of the day, a standard membership fee is good for members and management. No complain and less headache to deal with.

Yeah it's still kinda packed during peak hours. Sometimes the machines are full, but I find the weights area okay (not that many people - maybe I didn't take much notice). They have rearranged the order of the machines. Some of the equipments starting to worn out though.

Haha get a 7-day trial with FF KBT checkout the place then decide. I heard Gorgeous KBT is much bigger but some of the machines/ equipments are not in good condition and generally management don't really care? ---> came from a friend who went for a 7-days trial.

Yes the people seems alright and I see they always place the weights back on the rack.
Oh yeah I noticed the weights area quite empty on weekend morning to noon - if it's ideal time for your training.

Me and some of my kaki are a little crazy. We go gym everyday after work. For me weekday only 1 hour workout each day, except Wed and Friday (about 1.5 to 2 hours). On weekends we get worse by attending 3 to 4 classes (1hr each class). I have tried having 1 rest day in a week bt i got so bored at home. In the end i rather spend that rest day on at least 1 class. So right now no rest day unless i have to be outstation for work, meet friends, family stuffs etc

Generally there's 2 types of FF outlets: Platinum Outlet and normal home outlet. Platinum outlet more premium but of course, you pay more for the membership. Currently there are 4-5 Fitness First Platinum (Mont Kiara, KBT, Empire etc)

1. Platinum membership : you have access to all FF outlets in Malaysia and the international ones as well
2. Passport membership : you have access to all FF outlets in Malaysia except Platinum outlets
3. Home membership : you only have access to your home club (meaning just that 1 club)

It depends on your need to enroll based on which type of membership. There is also weekend-only-membership which allows access to that 1 club from Friday night till Sunday.
