One thing that I am not happy with FF menara axis is the rubber grips on the pull up machine seem to be torn... but that is the least of my worries.
old gym mah...what to do? I prefer Paradigm mall and 1 MK.

QUOTE(ahnien @ Jun 24 2013, 12:47 PM) 2more months contract. The other way is complain in the FF facebook...Sing bad song to everybody in front of them.but will probably negotiate to proceed without bond since if i change to other gym. will incur other cost like joining fee / processing fee + another year bond. |

QUOTE(ahnien @ Jun 24 2013, 02:55 PM) regardless of the unhappy issue, the non-bond membership is very very tempting. Mind to share how much you pay under corporate rate?and my membership is also under corporate rate. which actually i no longer work with the company that eonntitles me for the cheaper fee. if sign up with other clubs, need bond again, very sienz............ anyone here had membership with other clubs b4? |

QUOTE(sweet_pez @ Jul 8 2013, 11:49 AM) lilred, any idea which FF outlet is the biggest? Should pay a visit to the biggest/ best outlet and see the difference Pay a visit to TF in Jaya 33...or CF in mid valley....big with swimming pool, spa, jacuzzi. If not so many lowyat ppl keep saying that TF is suck, I might be a TF member now. |

QUOTE(sweet_pez @ Jul 8 2013, 12:05 PM) Woah really? TF facilities sounds good! Yes. But somebody told the TF swimming pool is only opened on certain day during the week, shower curtain is dirty etc...Info are from one of FF member (of course she don't like TF, otherwise she won't come back FF right). U can confirm the info with others..FF got quite a number of former TF and CF members.Hahahaha apparently it sucks when you want to terminate/ freeze membership. That's what most of the complain had been about As for CF in midvalley, they used to have dedicated lady work out area....now I am not sure. The MV gym is formerly belongs to California fitness and Jacky Chen is their former shareholder. |

QUOTE(sweet_pez @ Jul 8 2013, 01:51 PM) Curve? Okay, one day will drop by there after work or on weekend Ha Ha...members in and members out. All gyms are the same.KOHIT>> I'll ask other members and see what they say about TF and CF. But anyway a long time member said that a lot of FF members left and went to Gorgeous, especially the Bkt Tinggi outlet. Gorgeous is cheaper and apparently facilities better, newer (no doubt since they have just opened about 1-2 years). If you look at FF facebook, there are lots of complaints from members too..There is just no perfect gym around. |

QUOTE(OptimusStar @ Jul 8 2013, 04:37 PM) FF has been graded their PTs into different levels: personal trainer, master trainer, elite trainer etc. Each PT has different rate. Never being to Leisure Mall, but the PT area should have a chart which shows all their PTs' pretty face and their proficiency level. You may want to ask for details at the PT counter. |

QUOTE(sweet_pez @ Aug 21 2013, 01:48 PM) Avoid driving in KL? :3 Avenue and MBF both aso in KL. But I'd always wanted to visit the outlet in KL as well. We continue through PM. Way OOT hahaha. Ok I see. 6 packs = slim/ slender for girls/ ladies. No way, it's more for self satisfaction Are you a BA fan? Yeah saw Axis got BA but only twice a week. Agree that Paradigm should have at least 1-2 BA class. It's not fair to remove it altogether. They used to have Attack... maybe Grit was more popular so they changed all the slots. It's always full and if I want to attend, I'd need to ask my friend to help me register. Plat members aso need to travel around to enjoy all classes. There's no 1 club that offers complete/ full range of classes right? Not that I notice. Besides if I'm not mistaken, only Paradigm has the license to Grit. Heard that something called 'hardcore strength' is coming up from FF (some instructors are already taking it up); apparently quite similar to hardcore but the latter involves carrying weights as well. *cough* a little like Grit? Yessssssss agree with you that FF Setia Mall has got a nice view. The Freestyle area is bit more spacious but class is smaller. What to do, Setia's club is newer than KBT. KBT no RPM, freestyle area is small, less machines, pantry aso small... the only thing i like - class is pretty big. At least more space to move around. Try BA before...too strenuous 4 me. I got knee problem, better avoid this.... Yes. Hardcore Strength will be introduced in FF and not just limited to Paradigm mall. |

QUOTE(dikae @ Aug 21 2013, 03:40 PM) really? lol I wanted to join the one at empire last time but my friend said they don't have, and I heard paradigm don't have as well so I thought only platinum has it, like the one at the curve.. good to know, thanks bro, I have more options now.. Try FF website - It has classes time table 4 all clubs. |

QUOTE(sweet_pez @ Aug 21 2013, 03:37 PM) Eeeeee why says 6packs = slim/ slender? For BA, track no. 4 is the hardest?6 packs = fit Slim/ slender = frail (in my opinion) Ah yes, BA is bad for knees especially the jumping lunges. I hate that. I go for options recently because I wouldn't want to exhaust my knees. Hardcore strength is developed in-house so they can introduce it to all FF outlets. No license involved so it's easier for FF to control. Hope it'll be good. The "Lose It" program (circuit) that was introduced had been reduced to only 1 class in KBT. It's not working :3 I noticed most new ppl give up on the first half of the BA session. Second half is not so bad... This post has been edited by KOHTT: Aug 21 2013, 03:46 PM |

How come only FF members is active in lowyat?
I don't see Celebrity Fitness active thread? For TF, most of the time their members are active when they have something to complain in lowyat... This post has been edited by KOHTT: Aug 21 2013, 03:49 PM |

QUOTE(Mr Kong @ Aug 29 2013, 11:15 PM) Hey guys. How much are you guys paying monthly for fitness first? I am paying RM201 per month for FF plat membership...but they will tell you that the price is RM190.00 which is not inclusive of 6% tax.I am interested to join platinum in empire but when I think of the extra cost of parking, I think twice again. What about true fitness? Are they really that bad? FF membership is the most expensive in the town. Talk with the membership consultant on the car park...if not mistaken (I hardly go to empire - so don't shoot at if wrong), FF members can have flat rate or discount rate on car park. True fitness?? Try to search the thread in lowyat. This post has been edited by KOHTT: Aug 30 2013, 12:15 AM |

QUOTE(chiahau @ Aug 30 2013, 10:52 AM) Lol. That's the bad part bout working Few months back, the Axis consultant told me home membership is RM15X/++ (excluding tax)I'm not really a fan of classes, so yeay! For the house membership, it's around 140 IIRC. The paradigm FF consultant told me RM16X.++ (excluding tax) because is a new outlet. It should not be that cheap unless you joined FF few years back. |
