I did, with heat rejection of about 85% and cost me rm800 for 4 windows and rear..

Got stop by cops the other day, but pulled my way through... smile.gif
*
bro, not to burst ur buble..but heat rejection or infra red? TSER a.k.a. total solar energy rejection is the most important for rejection of heat.

no tint can give TSER of 85%. most also 60+ %,

What about the VLT? Based on the given info, our pre-installed film's VLT is 58%....
*
when it comes to heat rejection, TSER is the parameters that u should look.

that is why i bold it out.

Dude.... its not as simple as that, u need to lay flat under the car and push it in, and secure with cable tie.... seems easy but looks even easier if someone is installing it for you....

Go to JE Auto SS2, look for William, tell him Vincent from Inspira Gang intro... RM80 for all 4 plus install....
2 years service shld be till 50K, all 1K, 10K, 20K, 30K and 50K shld be Syn800 Semi Syn oil, oil fliter and drain gasket only, while 40K will get you major service which adds paper filter, and a few items wafark I cant remember (anyone can help??)...

Best if check with the SA what is included.... coz only he knows....

old days MIVEC is actually same like VTEC with cam profile switching mechanism.

new MIVEC dont have cam profile switching mechanism like old MIVEC anymore but replace by honda VTC alike mechanism, more like a VVT-I
fast forward to 2:05 to view VTC.

actually name tell everything.
New name=Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control system
Old name=Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing and lift Electronic Control

next time dont said MIVEC kick in anymore , else give other people laugh at you  whistling.gif
*

*
why so? the 4b1 series can even use 0W-20. even in the lancers with no problems.

dont say malaysia hot ya..other countries even hotter.

Thin oil good for fc but provide less protection. if u rev kau kau better use thicker oil.
*
btw, those guys in US rev more and their service interval is longer. u dont hear their 4b11 exploding, isnt it? another point is, it is rather dumb for mitsu(esp in US where consumers are so much more powerful) to recommend 0w-20 that can damage the engine having known that should anything happen to the engines, mitsu themselves were to suffer.

if 0w-40 is thin, i think better no need to drive car already.

Not so serious la bro.. i think can rev still.. sun worry to much.. actually when engine oil too thin.. it wont blown ur engine.. It will cause faster wear on the engine head as lubricant pump up from the lower crank .. our tappet utilize engine oil to adjust itself.. unlike normal fix tappet.. with more surface but thinner oil .. u might increase the chance of tear n wear..

Ur engine so new.. the oil hose all still new.. shd not have problem with pumping the lubricant to the head.. just my 2 cents of ideas..
*
if im not mistaken, bro JXPlod is using 0W-40. so why need to worry?

erm smile.gif actually last night i try to push the car in a corner, those highway 270 degree corner, the sampan/bodyroll is actually very good, because i keep pushing until 90kmh its very predictable and very confident(to the driver).

let me try those bump stopper at the same corner again tmr, today traffic jam kao kao at 9pm, wtf.
*
bump stopper is not the ones the bros here put in the spring ya.

Bump stopper = absorber dust cover

Morning all,

Just to share some findings on Oil viscosity from Mobil1 site FAQs:

http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/MotorO...ction.aspx?pg=1
Probably these two questions are relevant to most of the queries on engine oil:

Q1:
http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/MotorO...tart_Knock.aspx

Q2:
http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/MotorO...esignation.aspx
Based on this, probably 5W-40 oil should be the most ideal for our Inspira and I dont think there's issue with using 0W-40 except we dont really need the 0W capability of the oil. Just my 2 sen... icon_rolleyes.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif

no ah..if not later got tappet sound whistling.gif

really gotta salute mitsu for dumping mobil1 0w-40 into 4b11T of lancer EVOs and yet petronas 5000 is too thin for the normal 4b11. they are probably better with 20W-60 oils. tongue.gif

same goes to the honda type R, since they rev alot, they must use 20W-60. or they'll wear off their engines.

eh.... the 0w-40 information u get for evo is from US right?? u better go ask mitsubishi malaysia recommended what, climate different , better use different rating, so far i saw taiwan tuner use 15w50 for rb26dett, reason? climate, and do you know usually high rev/turbo charge engine they usually dont service at 10k km? because these oil used in these high performance engine will degrade faster. and you can go STUDY, endurance oil usually 20w60 rating compare to Hot lap oil 0wxx or 5wxx, why they used these rating, i think wat kenny means is better stay xw40 to our engine, not lower like xw30 or xw20.
*
eh... EVO only made in Japan lah. note the word factory engine oil

btw, our climate aint as bad as the ones in overseas lah.

their summer is worse than our hot season, just that the humidity is much higher over here.

plus, their service interval is 10k MILES, rather than 10k KM

the issue was with JXPLOD's syn 5000 which some say might not protect the engine more?

i'll put my money on fully syn than a 20W-60 mineral oil.

utter BS

Added on December 8, 2011, 7:49 amThere is more to engine wear protection than just the oil rating.

Base oils, additives and so on.

P.S. our engine not performance engine lah

Mr-play-by-the-book .. Jx told me he using the 0w-30 version that time. maybe he remember wrongly. thats why i says to thin.. takkan i say lowest 40.. Them says 40 keno pakai right??

Why not u go 0w-20 .. Its good.. US using..
*
mr, r u 5? Is there a need for name calling? I cant get 0W-20.. Will get 0w-40. Bro jxplod told me that his is 0w-40. Im giving the 0w-20 as a benchmark to show that 0w-30 and 0w-40 will not pose a problem. In fact, the 4b12 is designed to cater 0w-20
