please have faith in torres guys..current gameplay doesnt suit torres too much..torres will never be Drogba..torres is more like Aguero in City..Torres need a sweet thru pass the defender like wut Stevie G did when they are playin together..its juz the current Chelsea player dun have that..except Mata n Sturridge who can provide that kind of passes..that's y we really need a playmaker like Modric..trust me Torres will be a better player if Modric kind of player in our team..hehe..that's juz my opinion la..

Revival yet clear faultlines at Chelsea

Seem live AVB will start to get all the negative headlines after his outbreak against media.

We will see how TORRES fare when DROGBA leave for ANC. He have a month of games to prove himself again. TORRES should be the one to adapt to AVB style and not CHELSEA buying another 100m of player to suit him. Unless we gonna offload someone in our midfield department, i dont see any new signing there, the department we really need now is RB and ST.

lol. torres this torres that yadayadayada. doh.gif

i wonder why people are still supporting him.
he's a flop, nuff said. if youre the economic or finance guy, tell me, why would you keep a thing or player that is supposed to ease your task(score goals) but failed while needing to fork out a huge sum of money for the maintenance(his wage)?

if Mata, Mereiles and Romeu are playing in midfield, i am quite sure Torres will get enough chances to score.

ANC will definitely be the time Torres takes the opportunity to shine.

the media is friggin bull, keep trying to break us apart no matter if we win or lose.

Flop or not, but he's a Chelsea player now. He need the team support, he need manager support as well as the fans support.
I still believe in Torres no matter what, but currently Drogba is really on top form. I would play Drogba ahead of Torres now.

It's interesting to see how are we going to play during ANC time, but remember, when the african players left us two seasons ago and we had our first match without the african against sunderland, we got 7-2 win. Maybe?

is he causing any trouble to the team? no. all he does is train and try his best to score whenever he plays. its not like he is making alot of noise and wanting to get out or something. he might not be the player he was before but he is still a Chelsea player.

if a Chelsea player is loyal to the club, i will support him. maybe you should too.

Galvanising! That’s all I can say about our performance vs man city. Its one of those games where its tough to choose a man of the match because everyone was up for it. But if I’m forced to do so, my pick would be either oreo for another performance straight out of the makelele handbook or studge for having a hand (pun intended) in both goals! Didier deserves a special mention too for some eye-catching hold up and link up play. He was selfless and it was easily his best showing this season. That magnificent backheel and dribble at the end was really something else!

Ramires has convincingly buried the ghost of giving away possession in that fateful match vs city sometime ago, which lead to a swift counter and goal by tevez. His direct running was causing them all sorts of problems and toure just couldn’t keep up with him. That ‘HUH WHAZZAT??’ look he had on his face when he realized he wasn’t being subbed was priceless, and I like his attitude of acknowledging the crowd and accepting he was being taken off, even though it turned out be just a faulty light board. Make no mistake, essien will be on the bench once he’s fit because of our Brazilian jetfighter. Clichy’s sending off was down to him, and I just can’t see the bison being able to do the same in that position.

Anyone else felt nervous when lampsy promptly picked up the ball and planted it down on the penalty spot? I know I was, especially since mata was initially staking a claim himself. It still ended in unbridled joy as hart was beaten with a firm strike down the middle. Technically lampsy ‘assisted’ himself with that lovely pass to studge which lead to a shot, and lescott unnecessarily raised his hands, resulting in the pen. I was happy for lamps, but we seriously need to groom another young penalty taker to take over his duties. Mata has shown he’s willing, but I wouldn’t mind studge or meireles stepping up in the future.

Speaking of raul, his late run and neat finish was crucial to us getting a grip in the game, plus his tireless running (second only to milner at half-time) is testimony to his admirable work rate. However, I want to see more from the portugese because sometimes he has a tendency to attempt passes which are too difficult, and those late runs should be made more often. Our back four stood firm after iva failed to track balotelli and I don’t think it was a high line we were going for, but more of an attacking attitude which was adopted since it was still early in the game. Ashley still needs to improve his crossing, but bossy had some very good balls whipped in.

Last but not least AVB got it right again, and the desire we showed after going a goal down was intense. In the first 20-30 minutes we were giving the ball away cheaply and city could have punished us further. Vastly improved in the second half, and demonstrated great patience in searching for that winning goal. Lamps came in at the right time and whatever was said by the boss at the break worked.

p. s: The penalty incident was tough to call but I don’t think silva dived. Bosingwa did stick out that skinny leg and pulled it back as fast as he could, which may have convinced the ref there wasn’t much contact. However if he did give it, I’d accept the decision. Unlike the delayed swan dive by one of QPR’s players after being touched by luiz, this was possibly a foul.

if you so happen to be at Torres's seat and u were just picking up something at that moment, FOR EXAMPLE, and the media says you're not celebrating with the team.

how can you believe the media that has been tearing us inside out since AVB took over.

AS simple as... if ANC until the very end of january torres still don performce... and if there any offer like 30 - 35m before closing of transfer window... we should let Torres go.. but definitely not 20m pls.

Torres may not yet be key player at chelsea, but any other team who going to get torres hv to pay for his FUTURE influence but not the record of torres not performing..

Btw.. any ST available in the market fit the replacement of DD?

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm let me think. oh wait it just hit me..BIG TIME! maybe.....JUST MAYBE (and i'm trying hard not to jump to conclusions here) its because he's a chelsea player?

branding him a flop even while he still wears the shirt. tsk tsk. as far as i know that's what rival fans would do. so mr. finance, say we sell torres at a HUGE loss, then we replace him with? wait let me guess..cavani? falcao? pato? hulk? and we'll pay with what exactly? gummy bears? and what guarantee do u have that the player will get a double hattrick in his first game and continue in the same vein? and how many games should we give him before u brand him a flop as well? five?

the guardian. oh yes...they're all big chelsea fans aren't they? try and look through the sensationlist and rubbish writing once in awhile. even if we won by FIFTEEN goals, they'd concoct some story about terry hanging kittens with his extra boot laces in his free time. our positive results are always secondary to these people. u should know that by know. so who cares if he celebrates with the team or not? if he's pissed at not starting, he should be and it will serve as motivation to work even harder to win back that striker's position.

Jz not to forget that.. every one (almost) claim torres is FLOP... However Berbatov case? if he consider a Flop?
at the same time we should wait atleast another summer to see weather Torres future lying in SB...
And obviously January not a good time for MAJOR reinforcement.... we should stick with Torres and Lukaku and shall see if any Chemical Reaction.
If we rush to get a ST in january.. no one going to guarantee the ST may not fit to the team (like torres case)
Perhaps a Loan for HIGUAIN maybe a solution up there (if JM willing, of course if there a buyout clauses at the end of season)
