After city is Wigan then Spurs, if I remember clearly.

Wigan game hope our players don't complacent.

Too be honest, City game I just hope for the best, our record against strong teams this season isn't exactly marvelous. I just hope it's a positive performance, and hope for City to have some sort of European knock-out hangover.
Off topic a bit, I really pity Luis Suarez. He's just new to the EPL and already a bit unfairly abused as a cheater. Strikers going down easily is understandable, in fact, the only striker who doesn't fall over easily is Messi.  I don't remember Drogba ( few years back) , Nani and Ronaldo getting as much stick as Suarez.

didier still gets derided for a tendency to 'overreact' in his first couple of years with us although he's cleaned up his act. unfortunately once players are labelled as such, there's no turning back really. usually the tag lasts for the rest of their careers. trust me, didier got just as much, if not more stick than the others.

oh. Guess Didier is experienced enough to understand referees in England won't give away soft penalties easily.

Erm, just asking, why is David Luiz suspended for Man City game?
Fantasy League showed he only have 4 yellow cards in league (Bolton, QPR,Liv,Newcastle), but suspended .

that one incident that's been forever etched in football blooper history, is the exchange with jens lehmann. as far as i remember, didier doesn't go down looking for penalties. he only tends to 'milk' things a little too much whenever there's a foul on him, in the past. don't tell that to rival fans though..they won't believe u tongue.gif

hmmm it looks like luiz has five then. the next best thing is terry and ivanovic? alex has been reaaaallyy error prone lately. hope city are tired from their champions league exertions. one thing's for sure, without the high line we look much, much more composed at the back. i wonder how long AVB is willing to drop this philosophy of his. hmm.gif

of course playing high line would be suicidal for slow players like terry...hes incredible when we defend deep thou... lots of hi balls get filtered out and smaller area for him to run and cover.... instantly we see his perfect positioning and good game sense(remember that goal line clearence?) ....i remember the newcastle match he gives man of the match worthy of performance in defense as well... i hope AVb maintain this.... defending deep has always been our hallmark defense.

Keep the GOLDEN oldies and let the not-so-golden ones go to strangthen the transfer funds to get more fresh blood!! happy.gif

Anyone noticed Borrusia M'bach's first choice keeper? Same age as Courtois but man.. Borrusia M'bach's Marc-André ter Stegen is doing a freakingly excellent job at the moment!!

sometimes you have to make necessary sacrifice to move forward... anyway, we thank him for his contribution especially during our double winning season & his golden boot...

there is NO solid proof that AVB said all those things, so lets not speculate and buy into all these news.

i do believe that's what we're doing now. under carlo was their last hurrah, although the cracks were beginning to show. our evolution was always put on hold as the seniors continued to show flashes of brilliance that won us many points. thankfully, AVB has decided to stamp his identity on the team without being too drastic. maintaining the trust and respect of several senior figures such as terry and drogba has been key to this.

u mean there's NO solid proof rite. biggrin.gif

anelka has come out and publicly commented that he's accepted the manager's decision, so the journos are doing their normal make a mountain out of a molehill routine. it was all probably a mutual agreement, or else i'm sure nico would have some much harsher words for the boss.

Already confirmed out : Anelka and Alex..

I believe that in NO possible way that Lampard will leave at all. Lampard's a true blue all the way, I don't see him leaving the Blues even if he retires from playing, he'll be there to coach the young one happy.gif

I'm thinking that AvB might be bringing another 1-2 of his trusted players from Porto. happy.gif
