I am excited for these kind of news. We need a winger badly. He can play attacking midfield in 4231 too. Never watch him before, how's Krasic? Sounds great, 27 years old, prime years.

Pretty much hot and cold for Juventus last season. Something like our beloved Salomon Kalou. Can be good one second, bad for the whole game.

Whoa, with this comparison, it sounds like he's no better than Kalou also.
I don't expect much signings in this January, maybe some defensive fixes only.
Attack reinforcement better do it on during summer

Its quite likely now Cahill will be joining us. I don't think he's worth more than 8m, however i wont be suprised if we got him for more than that. Cahill-Luiz will succeed Terry in the future, but i still cant see us playing without Terry as a regular.

One post from a forum about cahill convinced me,

AVB can fill the quotas for the english players and he can have a bigger squad..cuz atm..there will be movement will happen this january i dont think just Alex and Anelka will leave..

I think the rules states that we don't need to have minimum 8 homegrown dudes, we just cannot have more than 17 non-homegrown players.

So we can have 17 non-homegrown and 2 homegrown if we want to in the 25 man squad.

25 Squad - all over 21 years old = if this happen then only 17 can be non-homegrown...8 must be homegrown..

If Chelsea fill the 8 homegrown slot then we can have 17 more non-homegrown.. + all the youngster below 21.. = big squad..

If Chelsea only register 2 homegrown then we cant use the remaining 6 slots..so that is why chelsea always have players below 21 years old to fill the void...
