QUOTE(tech_frix @ Dec 27 2013, 10:01 AM) my noob and 1st time managing cables..hahha You're doing just fine planing on changing to corsair hydro but confuse between H75 or H80i.. any suggestion..? You can go for a H80i if budget allowed, better mounting bracket compared to H75 which uses Asetek mounting bracket like it's predecessor. ![]() H75 (Not exactly the same screws for fastening your pump to the CPU, but the overall structure is basically the same) ![]() H80i (Magnetic mounting bracket, way much easier to install) This post has been edited by lucidlts: Dec 27 2013, 11:45 AM |

planning to get the 330R, but i saw many of you, are using the Corsair Water Cooling, regardless or H80 or H100i, i was thinking to use Noctua ND-14 only.. is it okay ar? and i plan to Max the Intake for this case, is it advisable?
forgot to mention.. my concern is quiet... This post has been edited by invisiblelim: Dec 30 2013, 06:12 PM |

The cooler itself is really quiet and the only noise from my pc is from the side panel 200mm fan (more like sound of moving air). So I think for a noise optimised case like 330R, should be no problem with any noise. The only thing I doubt is fitting that cooler because its height is already 160mm and that case also only have 160mm clearance so it will be very tight. Go double check that online.forgot to mention.. my concern is quiet... |

QUOTE(invisiblelim @ Dec 31 2013, 09:30 AM) thank you so much for your review, it really helps me a lot~~ Yeah I think the case should have enough clearance for the NH-D14. Later you can adjust the fans placement.i was still in the middle of hunting case, but the case is recommended by the Noctua Seller himself, i think should be okay, and i found this~~ http://www.vortez.net/articles_pages/corsa...r_review,7.html it did say the cooler is supported... another question, when you Max out the fans, all using normal casing fan or Noctua as well, in order to maintain the quietness. I'm using all cooler master generic 120mm fans for all intake and exhaust except the side panel intake using corsair's standard 200mm case fan. I hate LEDs. All connected to the motherboard fan headers and control the speed in BIOS. I suggest you just get whatever case fans you like, as long as they are not the high speed one (anything above 1200rpm). The 330R is already a quiet case so there should be no problem. Maybe get something like the bitfenix spectre pro or noiseblocker blacksilent pro/multiframe or even Noctua NF-P12/F12 if you have the budget. |

XD imho, intake and exhaust fans need to be at the same speed..last time i only focus on increasing my intake fans speed end up the air stuck inside the case since my exhaust fans was not the same speed as my intake.. silly me.. |
