my house got leak in one of the upper room..the wall corner is starting to become green and the wood floor is starting to "menggelembung"

usually bank pay via rentas system..for my case, from online banking, last thursday, payment showed as completed..but naza only received yesterday (monday). so..yesterday, i paid my utilities and already scheduled for key collection this week.. note that keys can only be collected monday - friday. no saturday/sunday.. they have 10:30am and 2:30pm session. and for each session, only 2 house will be released..meaning 1 day = 4 houses..

btw..guys..any good contractors that you guys can recommend? basically for plaster ceiling..light/fan fixing..painting..

hoho..i collected my keys last friday:

1. They did paint touch ups on the day I collected my keys..so the doors was abit sticky..
2. Although there a some defects from 1st glance, the quality of the house was ok.
3. Electric was ready, up and running..meter was installed..
4. Water meter was not ready yet..so no water in the house yet..however the toilet had water hmm.gif (weird..as there is no water connection yet)
5. the quality/fixture of the floor board at 2nd floor does not look good..it has creaking sound when walking on it (is it supposed to do that?)
6. They have also provided 2 data points in the house..
7. Although there is no guard house yet, the guards has already started the duty..
8. The delivery team also explained that the original plan submitted to the majlis perbandaran was without guarded and fencing facility. The guarded and fencing facility was just an addon provided to us by the developer. According to them,they have already opened a tender to build the guard house and fencing for sephira..will take approximately 3 months to complete it..


Overall..i would say the experience was good..but not that great..

After this, next thing to do is go through the house to check for defects..

for anyone still looking for house..there are still 3 corner lots which is still unsold yet..

the perimeter area trees will be planted as the guard house is being built..do do extra check on:

1. hollow tiles..i found some in my kitchen..
2. the grill lock...
3. the data points ( when i connected my devices at 2 different points and it showed as NIC is not connected and i could not access the other device. Assuming these points are the normal network points, the devices connected to it should be able to communicate with each other)
4. the holding area of the staircase..especially at the 1st floor living room..if anyone is having kids, might need to do something about it as kids can easily climb it..
5. they still have stray/contractor dogs rounding the area..

on another note, for those who have collected the keys, do you know where the water booster switch is located at? if not mistaken, the delivery guy mentioned about the switch..but i forgot where it is doh.gif

just to update, for those who has collected keys, the in-house fibre connection is not yet completed. One of the developer guys was going house by house to complete the connection (crimping the fibre cable in store room and the box behind the kitchen). I did mine just now.

Also, the external cabling for unifi is not ready yet..so we still cant apply for unifi yet..

btw..anyone submitted defect list yet? my 2nd room in 1st floor is still leaking..

I have been quoted some rm7.5k for plaster ceiling n light fixture for living, dining and kitchen area..is it reasonable? Still waiting for itemized quote from d contractor
