instead of plugging out and in in order to off the speaker sound, just volume up or down or mute and unmute. that will do the trick. dont need to plug out and plug in again

looks like the model code of the g55 is going to change..not s1095v anymore

reason for the model code change is because the new model has free rog mouse and rog backpack, while the s1095v has the normal asus backpack..thats all, the laptop is same

That is depending on countries. As far as I know for S1095V and IX044V is only equipped with 4G 1333 and 8G 1333.

Anyone(G55 owner/seller) can prove me wrong and give me a screenshot of their system using CPUID? I love to be proven wrong as I myself also hoping it is 1600

there will be a newer revision for the coming G55 batch. The previous batch was S1095V, that comes only with a normal bag and they're currently out of stock and will be replaced with a newer revision. Which I forgot what code number already, but it'll come with an exclusive Targus ROG backpack and ROG mouse. Specs wise, they are the same.
