Then again, that pricing stated would most likely have included VAT to the total.

So, may be a possibility that we'll get it cheaper over here.

I would see GentechPC list the price first.

Not discontinued, depends on locations. Most shop will only take order and wait for arrival. Hard to find ready stock nowadays.

i reckon the ram speed is the same but i'm not sure weather the brand is the same. haven't check the existing ram in the back. but will it have any impact if i use ram from different brand?
*
Brand doesn't matter, BSOD after installing new RAM lead to 2 possibility, incompatibility SPD, or Ur new RAM Chip may be faulty.

Probably copied the specs which are unaltered from the G53-series.

Though I am surprised they only listed 1 USB 3.0 in it.

Not to mention, G55VW manual only shows one hard disk drive bay, still this needs further rectification.

G75VW preview

According to Ken Lee from GenTechPC, G75VW gpu is not soldered. Yet, there's not guarantee it will be upgradable.

Keyboard is now attached as a whole piece with the track pad. Not more keyboard lighting mod.

G55VW might have glassless 3d panel but it is not announce yet till now.

First, that spec u listed is the possible hardwares that could fit in G55VW depending the code after the G55VW-xxxxxx.

Malaysia Spec would be most likely Core i7 3610QM instead of 3720QM.

Did u know why i mention glassless 3d is possible in G55VW? Go check G55VW driver page, u'll find Naked 3D Panel Driver lying under Others category.

FYI, I am G53SX owner.

ok bro, but check out the g55vw site and look at the 5 main features

Intel® 3rd generation Core™ i7 processors and the latest NVIDIA® enthusiast-level graphics
Intelligent cooling with dual rear venting system.
Superior ergonomic design for effortless gaming
Immersive 3D experiences with ACTIVE SHUTTER GLASSES
SonicMaster Lite powerful audio with built-in subwoofer

look in the 4th feature .so based on my opinion, impossible the g55vw has glassless 3d..or not for what they want to give free active shutter glasses?

thank you smile.gif

They have this added below the specification u copied bulat bulat.

If they released Naked 3D Panel variation without updating the spec, wouldn't it point to something else the driver page shows something that they had done during prototype stage. Besides Asus didn't manage to release G53SX Glassless 3D Version which they demonstrated during CES 2011.

I'm lazy to argue much for now knowing i will lose out very quickly.
