Hello guys, I plan to buy a phone with DiGi packages. I was looking around, and found a Galaxy W phone in which I like. It says that the price is RM249. Please check the screenshot:
Does this means that I have to pay RM249 to get the phone, or RM937 as per the screenshot?

Was browsing the Digi website, looking for new phone to buy. However, am not to sure about this : "An Advance Payment is applicable upon sign-up (for purchasing a device under contract + one-month commitment fee for DG Postpaid™ Plus subscription)." <-- What does this means? e.g refer below :
Does it mean that my first payment would be for the phone price + the first month charges? In this case, for RM1,049+RM88= RM1,137?

For Digi Data Plan + Internet, only got 3 plans is it? The DG SmartPlan thingy?
If it is, Then on the good side : easier to decide which plan to take Down Side : May not fit the needs, as not enough to choose from

QUOTE(nickcct @ Nov 9 2013, 07:57 PM) You can continue surfing via Opera. But the others internet access will be restricted.
Restricted, as in can use, but at a slower speed. Is that correct? Anyone mind to elaborate further on what this means? 1GB Mobile Internet Quota + 1GB Smart Apps QuotaSay, for SmartPlan58, it's 1 Gb to browse Internet, that I know. But for 1Gb Smart Apps, that's for which apps?

QUOTE(wcypierre @ Nov 9 2013, 09:56 PM) Its Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp (although I think that it's pretty clear from what you can see at the picture ) LOL so basically 1 Gb from the 2Gb allocation is for the 3 apps? Aiyark I thought it is 2Gb allowance, to use it any way we choose =p I don't have a Twitter a/c, seldom on FB, and only have a few groups in WhatsApp.. So am not finding the allocation suits my need. Anyway, should I need to resume my speed back to normal, is it possible?

QUOTE(wcypierre @ Nov 9 2013, 10:39 PM) yeap. resume what speed? I don't quite get it. If you're talking bout allocating the other 1gb for internet surfing then you're out of luck Sorry for the poorly constructed sentences, but you've answered me nonetheless Aiyark, so even though it is 2Gb, it is in actual fact 1Gb + 1Gb. Thank God for the free surfing at normal speed with Opera Mini

QUOTE(jimmylim85 @ Nov 15 2013, 08:44 AM) SmartPlan 58 works by.. First 1GB provided is meant for browsing internet without using mobile type or Opera Mini. Once your 1GB quota is finish, is total lock down. No throttled internet speed usage. What's left with the additional 1GB is meant for mobile app Whatsapp, WeChat and Opera Mini. In short.... it sucks! That's why I retain my Digi SmartPlan 48 even DiGi customer service agent called asking me to upgrade to SmartPlan 58 and I said no! RM 48 type is simple, 1GB usage. Once quota is finish, I can still use the internet freely with throttled speed of 128kbps. So once 1Gb is reached, Internet is out? Then what about the mobile apps quota. Does this mean that once the 1Gb quota for mobile apps is reached, I am no longer able to use it too? Or will this still be available, albeit at a slower speed?

QUOTE(jimmylim85 @ Nov 15 2013, 09:54 PM) For Smart plan 58, once you have finish both data quota then your internet Stops! For the remaining 1gb data at reduced speed you won't able to finish with the snail speed. But if using Opera Mini can still browse at normal speed, IIRC. So I'd just switch to using Opera Mini then
