QUOTE(zac1 @ Dec 29 2011, 12:24 AM) all taiko here 0.facebook.com is only free for certain hours. last time i use 0.facebook for free recent month i get charge for it ,fine ,then i call digi ,digi say ,upgrade to opera mini after i use opera mini ,still get charge then i call again ,they say nid use digi opera mini and can use diginet or digiwap tday i try again ,with digi opera mini and diginet ,i still get charge ,w T F , anyone encounter same thing ? i email them again today You may also face difficulty as the moment you turn on data connectivity, the phone will use it to transmit non-facebook packets right away. So you will be charged a little. Real solution, get dataplan. |

Porting to umobile means giving up your ambassador privilege, fruitie. Are you ready to leave it?

I'm thinking to just let go my DiGi Ambassador to go U Mobile. DiGi's coverage isn't excellent even in city areas and the rates are getting less competitive.

QUOTE(Cowhide @ Sep 11 2012, 11:19 AM) My SMS is the same type as yours, RM1=100sms from a year ago. I heard similar complaints about my mum's SMS. Suddenly there's a message saying that those SMS would expire. So, in your case they didn't forfeit/expire afterall? The 2 accounts I checked, now have zero amount of free SMS Digi-Digi. This is similar to the case a year back about them forfeiting the Digi Minutes bought during the promo. The promo stated "No Expiry". The free SMS is only worth RM3, but lets not treat the customer in a sneaky way. And how shameful, I posted my feedback on their Facebook page. Not only that they deleted it off, they didn't bother to make a respond. This post has been edited by mengsuan: Sep 11 2012, 03:28 PM |

I also got free silent upgrade from 1GB to 2GB.
However, I've seen fruitie's comment and I called in and upgraded my Ambassador plan to 3GB with 50% off. |

QUOTE(steventan85 @ Dec 1 2012, 07:42 AM) i never pay for simcard replacement ... juz tell the staff u called digi customer care and they ask u to get ur sim replacement here... in fact, u need not pay also Free SIM replacement only for DiGi centres. I had experienced that my SIM failed suddenly and I need a replacement immediately. Went to DiGi in 1U, I had to pay RM10 for replacement. I was told to go SS2 or Solaris DiGi Centre if I want it free.Added on December 1, 2012, 9:24 amjuz realise that Digi Dchat has been discontinued !!!!!! damn Since I'm running short of time that moment, I just paid for it. Inconsistent DiGi policy I suppose. |

HSPA gives about 1Mbps
DC HSPA gives about 2-3Mbps. Quite logical. They need to increase each channel's internet bandwidth to have more apparent improvement over DC HSPA |

QUOTE(ronalho2003 @ Jul 24 2013, 09:19 AM) Hi Guys, Turn off voice mail and missed call alerts. Gives you about 60 seconds instead of 20 secondsAny way we can extend caller tune? eg. when i make phone call to my friend, dialing tone for her phone will only be for like 20 Seconds before being redirected to voice mailbox. As her phone was set on vibrate before ring, she would have missed out on calls numerous times. Thanks mate. |

In Blackberry, like OS5 and 6 (not sure about newer ones), it is not possible to turn off just cellular data plan. Its settings is like that:
1. Data services on/off (controls internet capability on cellular and wifi) 2. Wifi on/off Unless you can be sure that wifi is available at all times when you use data services, it's likely to get you charged. Getting a Blackberry without BIS and internet plan can be the worse thing to do. |
