Hi guys, I'm currently overseas (in Bangkok) now and my phone isn't getting any service (overseas/digi/etc or not)

Currently using a Samsung Galaxy S2, do I need to activate the packet data thing to get signal? Wondering this because I offed it in fear of getting extra charges.

Would appreciate if anyone can help me with this, thanks

You need to request for roaming activation, if not it will not be activated.

Last year I went to SG and forgot to activate, when I reached SG only noticed... doh.gif Then, the next day went to TH... I was basically stuck for 4 days without phone signal. laugh.gif doh.gif

Then this year's June, I only remembered to call and asked them to activate few hours before I flew off to Bangkok. laugh.gif
