That will soon become a reality. Found DiGi LTE coverage at my office near Subang Hi-Tech and my condo at Tropicana biggrin.gif

Did not have speedtest installed, so just used a HTML 5 checker smile.gif

Probably not all areas are opened up yet. I've tried in ares Subang Hi-tech, Tropicana and also the area around Subang parade and they've got coverage.

It would probably take a while for it to be brought up completely.

Just notice iPhone 5 can't support for DiGi LTE. doh.gif

We need USIM card in order to use LTE. Whoever have the U printed on their simcard don't need to change simcard.

Have to go DiGi centre change?

Just take the monorail directly to Lowyat to get a replacement.  This is what I can think of, there may be a faster way...

Lowyat got DiGi centre to change sim? I know Time Square got.

I changed to USIM already today. i called DiGi technical team, they said for iPhone5, do not on the LTE toggle if you are not in the area as it will connect you to 1800MHz band (LTE from refarmed spectrum - tomorrow network) instead of 3G 2100MHz band. They said LTE will be launch NATIONWIDE on February 2014. Even east malaysia will get LTE coverage. Not sure early/mid/end feb.
*
Thanks for the info rclxms.gif Have to change to USIM only can get LTE signal?

Normal simcard not USIM ?

There is 'U' character printed on the sim.

I went to Digi Centre & told them that I wanted to change my iphone 5 nanosim to USIM card.. The CS told me no need to change SIM card.. All they need is to activate my account to enable LTE and do a carrier update on my phone.. Now I don't know which is correct?  rclxub.gif
*
I also done that, my area is under coverage but can't get any LTE signal sweat.gif

Cannot get LTE signal, or cannot register?

It's best to do a manual network search to check what telcos have LTE in your area.
*
Not sure is which one, manually search it can find DiGi in the list, but iPhone didn't show is LTE or 3G in the manual network search.
