My mum reloaded RM30 yesterday, Feb 2. I told her about the free internet but when she tried dialling *888*1# it says ' sorry, you are not allowed to access this menu'.

Any idea why? Did I miss a step?

Hi, any Digi Best Prepaid user.

I saw a promotion about reload RM10 get free 300MB, reload RM20 get free 750MB, reload 30 and above get free 1.5GB High speed internet.

Currently I'm Digi Best Prepaid v4 now. The promotion only entitle for New Best V1 and Digi Smart Prepaid.

Now my balance is RM0.00 . If I reload RM 10 and change plan to Digi New Best Prepaid V1 and left RM 7.00 balance.

Can I still redeem free 300MB internet if my balance is not RM 10?

Won't be that much different, digi might migrate some of their 3g to 900mhz to free up some spectrum for 1800mhz for lte

I called Digi CS again today and spoke to a different person. This one seems quite knowledgable and confirmed once again that "DG Prepaid Smart Plan V1" cannot change plans at all. Looks like will have to port-out and port-in if my mum wants to stay on DiGi.

DiGi CS told me it's a system limitation because "DG Prepaid Smart Plan V1" has no credit balance. When my mum reloads RM30, it's converted into 1GB, 60mins & 60 SMS. So I guess no credit balance, cannot change plan cause changing plans need to deduct RM3. Oh well. (It's actually not too bad a plan before Digi's free data promo)

My mum's reaction: "why so stupid one". LOL. Sigh... means more work for me cause now I have to do the port-out for her.

Was it majority 4G or 3G coverage inside?

Halo sifu want to ask prepaid can get LTE right?Already have the sim+LTE enabled phone+area but still can't have LTE.

Almost full bar LTE on my iPad. I'm at Tuas , Johor.

Although my iPad use other Digi sim but my phone already change new nano sim also.
If no coverage how come my iPad can have LTE.
I do have data plan or maybe need different plan?

Considering to port out from Maxis

most providers in malaysia are serving LTE on band 7 which is on 2600Mhz. maxis and celcom has slightly better indoor signal as they have access to band 3 (1800Mhz) too, and digi recently started serving LTE on band 3. but until they move to lower frequency band (900Mhz or less), signal penetration will be weak.

The last time I was on Digi, in my own house I cant even get signal.
That was the reason i ported out to Maxis in the first place, but that was like 5+ years ago

But looking at their current plan offers, its like so good compared to my current Surfmore 75
Tempted to port over if Maxis does not offer me a better plan
Just need to check out their supp lines and data sharing now, as I am curently sharing my data with my iPad

Hmmm, 2600Mhz even though not in LTE-A coverage    but the speed are quite terrible only 9-10mbps down and 5 up. Slower than U Mobile 3G
