It will void because, they will 'open' the Blackberry parts...

dissemble the blackberry itself will void the warranty ..

but, you still can try claim for warranty , If they not notice any changes...

that's true , I don't think they will do their work carefully ,

I dont think that they will peel off the sticker carefully without damage the sticker , and then.. put it back after repair..


people still can try their luck to send it to service center after that anyway..

9810 got update to OS7.1 , if you want official OS 7.1 , you can update it via Blackberry Desktop Manager..
1. Make sure u have backup everything[data/apps]
2. connect your phone with computer, open Blackberry Desktop Manager
3. Update smile.gif

or, if you want to update to OS 7.0.0.585 ,

firstly, download OS 7.0.0.585 --> 7.0.0.585
install and

follow this step..

so, dont need to add your Friends BB Pin //

you just need to restore your backup after done upgrading OS..

BIS = Blackberry Internet Service , BES = Blackberry Enterprise Server

if using prepaid, some of the plan disabled the youtube streaming.. by default... , and you need check the APN setting,, and enabled the wap..

if using postpaid , should've no problem to play this.. biggrin.gif


and the other way is,.. by using your BB Browser , access the video through m.youtube.com

I'm trying my sister's 9810 , I swap my 9360 for her 9810 , just for one night[today] ,

since she and I not using these phones to BBM , just using this to e-mail and browsing..., so no problem to swap the phone... biggrin.gif ,

so far,

9810 using OS 7.0.0.598 Hybrid Terzo Elemento ,

- battery better than 9360 , hate to say this.. but it is true , browsing some websites , streaming youtube almost 2 hours , from 100% , still get 75% [using 3G only , not 2G+3G] ...

- keyboard better than 9360... but bold series keypad is better than 9810 ,

- performance so far,not so smooth as my 9360 .. [maybe because this hybrid OS just installed today]..



now I will give this phone back to her... thumbup.gif
