Totally agreed on this. Though I know that it matters for most of the hardcores but it is sad to set a distinction between players just based on KDR, at the end of the day, it's all about having fun while being competitive

For me personally, when i try to increase my kills, i tend to die more. When i just play purely to enjoy the game, i do much better.

but of course still can't compare to those experts here

You guys still have to join an online server.

Its not hard to find empty servers though. Maybe you can arrange with your friends to join any particular empty servers. Try searching with the term "gamer" in Asia region, they have plenty of servers and many are empty.

Even if they do support LAN, don't think most cybercafes in Malaysia would be able to meet the requirements to run BF3 lol

In regards that most of BF3 players are using oversized signature in the forum (TechnoG, I am looking at you) I have asked so that the forum will change the limit size for signatures from the current 70KB to 150KB

wife nagging if play bf3....

Guys, I need to understand something here. People say that BF3 very laggy and can't set it to ultra if using normal gfx card and I've seen a video of a guy using sli-ed asus mars II and still it stutters a bit. But Im using just a single hd 6950 2gb and I set everything to ultra and I can play it smoothly. How is this possible? I game at full hd only.

My specs: mobo- asus crosshair v formula
Proc- phenom II x6 1090T
Gpu- xfx 6950 2gb
Psu- normal cm 460 watts
Hdd- wd caviar blue.

if you are talking about that test rig video
- Mars II is NOT made by nvidia, but Asus. Thus driver wise it might need a special one
- The guy was running a large monitor, LARGER than a full HD (2560*1600 in fact) monitor which means that the card which only has 1.5gb of vram quickly run out of it

Fortunately for me my wife gives me gametime. As long as I set aside family time, I'm free to play BF3 as much as I want and not neglecting my resposibilities that is.

Vram not enough. most of the gtx580 you see in the market today are the 1.5gb variant veraion
