Hey all laoban, wonder what is ur 1st touch with diecast，mind to share ur story here? What is the 1st diecast model that u brought? Who poison u into this hobby or what thing make u start collecting diecast? That must be very interesting. ^^ Let me start my story 1st. My story is like tat....my Thai office sales girl one day msn me, ask me help her to buy a toy in M'sia, she claim that in Thailand no stock, the toy she ask me to buy is HOT TOYS IRON MAN Mrk5. I surf LYN very frequent but only at photography section. While i trying to search for the HOTTOYS is this section, i accidently saw Sky707 WTS thread.

This photo make me fall in love with this hobby. I brought my very 1st diecast "Lamborghini Reventon black with him on 7 of Oct. From that day on, i start fall into this hole deeply. I start searching around all the related thread, search for place tat selling diecast, grab all my dream car one by one.....non stop.... T_T......spending hundred and hundred to brought a pc of iron. I still remember early of this year, i went to Sunway piramid shopping and passby a toy shop. The toys shop did display some diecast which is Kyosho brand Aston martin, BMW M6....etc, at the moment i saw the price tag there it was really make me shocked! "Wth? RM400+ for just a small car? Wonder which crazy guy will buy?" And now.....i become the crazy guy......How about u guy? Mind to share ur story?

Btw, this is part of my collection since 7 Oct 2011.

Me? Forgot how I fell into this hole. Btw, my first car was my Black GT-R from Lenewin.

My story began with my purple Maisto Lambo Diablo 40th Anniversary Edition. It's still here until today. My collection slowly grow. To date, my most expensive car is my Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR. Bought it in Canada 3 years ago.

Wait, this weekend I try to take pictures of the Diablo. As for the Mustang, I posted it before. Now I'm on my laptop, while the photos are on my desktop.

I started my hobby from young, probably 3. My dad takes credit for getting me into this. Haha! My last purchase was Maisto's Datsun 240Z. Wanted to get the blue Kyosho Street Sport Z, but $$ takda. XD

Bluehummer: my first diecast is during my hk trip,accidentally pass by a diecast shop,but that time still new,so never think of getting autoart o expensive model...at last i choose a mondo motors reventon which cost me around rm200... That time this car is very expensive to me ady.....And that time my thinking way same with u, only crazy ppl will buy such expensive model,at last i admit im crazy....but now ady bcome normal abit liao,hehe

My story is, after i moved into a new house, n my cabinet is empty. I wan to filling it up with something....ermmm...not this version.

ok, seriously, my story is because of ebay. My friends is collecting transformers. He teach me how to shop in ebay. Then i started to hunt some toys.....My first toy is disney wall-e robot which is out of production, n i got it from ebay around USD200++...

okok...straight to the point. my friend collect transformers as a hobby and i wanna collect something else. So i picked diecast as my hobby. My first car was either Mclaren F1 or Reventon or Gallardo, hardly 2 remember which 1 is first. I did do some research about diecast, which brand is better and after i saw this thread. I kena poison....deeply. Then i keep expand my collection.

I hunt most of my cars from ebay, Nissan GTR, Citroen GT, Lamborghini Murcielago. and Then i purchased Bugatti Veyron, Koenigsegg from replicarz within two months. And then Audi R8 and M3....bla bla bla... then my last car into the collection was the CMC Mclaren Slr (broken ver)......coz now i m more interested in something is Rare and limited. Somehow i m also collecting Hot toys and PVC figure.

1st car alrdy McLaren F1!! May i know how long u had been collecting model car? Ur job is printing $$??

Bluehummer: hurmmm,i think got almost 3 years d gua...i oso forget d...im normal d,bcoz im just like wkwebsite...now more interested with rare model....coz normal model we can get anytime as long as we got the money....that's the reason i drag my lambo theme untill now just collect it slowly...and of coz,gtr series still in my plan..keep more money in hand,so can buy rare model whenever they appear,hehe

I started since May or June in this year. If not Mclaren F1, then will be Reventon, murcielago and Gallardo. I got the Reventon , Murcielago n Gallardo at the same time with the same seller. Not printing $$ larr, coz the currency count in USD, didnt really count much~~ after that just keep paying my credit card.........
