QUOTE(mydragoon @ Dec 1 2011, 11:51 AM) cut cost?!? i dunno... coz compared to sgs2... sgs2 came with normal charger + USB cable. with the note's travel charger, the save 1 cable. the travel charger uses the same USB cable. Are they learned from the close competitor? same cable for USB connection and charging.sgs2... i used to leave charger @ home and bring usb cable to office... easy to charge. now... have to carry both... worry 1 part left behind... the whole thing cannot use. Overall I am happy with Note. No regret paying more (compare to SE Arc S & IPhone 4S-no sight in Msia yet) |

Anyone here can recommend any paid GPS application that will fully utilize SGN screen resolution to the fullest? Also with updated map for ASEAN region especially Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
Read somewhere Papago needs to tweak and does not fully utilize the screen. As for paid app like Sygic, there seems to be some problem with the software itself. |

QUOTE(dchk @ Dec 1 2011, 01:07 PM) Thanks Benny888. I assume you have it working flawless on SGN and it utilizes the SGN screen resolution to the fullest. Is the map constantly updated for the mention countries above. I suggest you try both Sygic and Route 66 - both have trial versions.Sygic worldwide map is 80 Euros, but you have the option of buying individual maps (South East Asia for 20 Euros). Route66 only provides a worldwide license, but it's USD 65. I've never tried Sygic, but Route66 uses Navteq maps and my area is very updated I have 1 complaint though - both Sygic and Route66 don't have Korea and Japan maps |
