hmm.. Yesterday in Pyramid, told one of the shop oni my prob, he tried and told me its lagging like hell and could be due to my Go Launcher.  Deleted it and sk far the screen prob and lagging issuez are gone!!

Anyone using go launcher? Could it be the launcher can't handle our big screen and scaling??
*
So far none of the 3rd party launchers are optimized for the higher resolution of Note causing laggyness. I have tested launcher pro, go launcher, adw ex, zeam and spb shell. So i stick back to touchwiz

If I'm on HK ROM and I did a nand backup then I flash Rocket ROM and then I restore. Will it restore back to HK ROM or I will have everything back in Rocket ROM?
*
Your restore will be based on your choice of the backup you have done. You can keep multiple copies of backup on even same rom. It is good practice to rename your rom backup so that you can easily identify all your backups

Titanium only backup your apps and data
When you flash new rom launch titanium n select restore missing apps to install on new rom
Installing rocket rom will not wipe your phone unless you select to clear data in recovery mode before select zip to flash

I see but my doubt is, once I flashed new rom(rocket) and I enter into CWM to restore(backup was made when I was in HK rom), will it revert back to HK rom or it stays at rocket rom?
*
It will restore back to hk rom if you have only one backup. During restore you will be shown a list of all your backups n you choose which to restore. Infact before you flash the hk rom you should do a backup your previous rom just in case of rom flash failure

All the apps I bought on Note appear on my SGS too...is it ok to install them..I've tested one app and it works fine..question is , are the licenses under my account applicable to all the device I owned? Thanks...
*
Yes practially 99% of apps can be used in more than 1 phone provided all signed in with same google id. Exception eg sygic aura is tied to phone imei n restrict to only one phone. If need to use on another just email support at sygic and request licence transfer to new phone

Thanks benny888, that certainly answers my question.
So, if I would like to flash a new ROM, the only option to move my apps, data, messages except for the existing ROM to a new ROM is by using Titanum Backup?
*
For messages select restore data only in restore system apps. Do not select app as the older app will overwrite your new rom app
If sms sugest use sms backup&restore very good 100% reliable free app

New to Samsung Note, may I know how to sync my Note to my Mac? Anyone cares to show me the link if somebody has asked the same questions before? Thxs.
*
Download and install on your Mac KIES for Mac ( google the software). This will sync your photos, videos, music and podcasts
To sync your address book, calendar - select Google sync in your preferences and than sync your Note with Google

Bro,
Can you connect your phone using Kies via WiFi to your mac?
*
Sure ; just launch KIES AIR on phone. It will prompt you to key in a address on the MAC browser and immediately is connected through WiFi. It is more efficient and many many times faster than connecting the Mac to it though USB cable on KIES

How much is to cost of an original Samsung spare battery for the note?  What about compatible ones?

Is there an external battery charger for this battery
*
Original about RM 180 and compatible plenty choices at ebay : just type galaxy note battery - darn cheap and some comes with external battery charger. Buying these cheap types I'd advise you not to charge it inside phone and charging on the external battery charger takes very long - 6 to 8 hours !!!

haha...main main good terms.. I see you happy with Note so far ? mee too..best phone so far for me.
*
I am very happy with my NOTE - must say is the best smartphone I have used after the SGS II
My unit is close to perfect - no hardware or software issues or display/touchscreen problems as reported by some users
It has perform flawlessly since day one

I am now on rocket KK6 rom with Abyss 2.0 kernel : excellent combination. Battery life overnite with 3G always on, wifi off, gps off , battery drop only about 1 %/hour. Day use can easily last me 10-12 hours ( no gaming ) : browsing about 2+hours, 3 emails account every 30 mins, refresh n update newsfeed, tweeter, facebook updates every 30 mins, few calls and about 10 sms

3g is the phone's data plan right?
Facebook update every 30 minutes mean you open fb every half an hour or the app update in background every 30 minutes? Is there a setting for it in background mode?
*
My phone 3G is always on 24/7 ( i am on unlimited data plan up to 3 GB ; above it will only be throttle down to 128kbps )
I am using Friendcaster Pro to replace Facebook : I can set checking updates from every minute up to every 6 hours

2. Clear battery stats to have a fresh record of battery usage
3. Allows you to select rom zips to flash rom, kernel or modem
4. Factory reset your phone through clear data
5. Backup and restore 100% your rom and all your apps/data/settings
6. Partition SD card

Hi , i am on dxk11 , can I just flash this rocket rom straight away ? or need to wipe everything first ? thanks

You can flash it directly and your phone data will not be wipe
But at recovery mode - remember to clear cache partition and at advanced , clear dalvik cache first before flashing the zip file

Yah, I have inquired in this forum about the in call voice volume. Even the pro users like B***888 has been quiet about it. Or perhaps their unit is fine and the issue is limited to a handful of owners.
*
In call volume - just nice for me ; not too loud or too soft
