for unwanted call - long press the number in call log and select "Add to reject list". Dunno whether it will also block sms or not.

only for Swiftkey X Tablet edition - In landscape mode, there is a U-shape key on the right side of the Swiftkey setting key - tab it and it will change to split keyboard.

I think the current USD1.00 is the phone edition. The only difference between them might be the split keyboard only - it depends on whether you need the split keyboard badly. I will suggest you get the Phone edition first to try out. Yes, Tablet edition work on Note.

I got the Tablet edition during the Black Friday sales at a good discount - moreover I might be getting an Asus Transformer Prime soon.

Added on December 7, 2011, 2:48 pmhaha.... dun scare me. The only chance i can watch youtube while in a jam is normally at Causeway heading to or from Singapore. So chance of break in is not that high coz motor cycles are using a dedicated lane differ from cars.

Normal everyday driving in JB town i dun really put my precious Note there.

does security tint help? My wife is collecting her new car tomorrow, i ask her to put security tint on it but dunno how effective is that.

These amount will be off-set your monthly bills in the following months until fully utilised. Before it is fully off-set, you no need to make any payment.

of course need to fully paid before you can take it home. the price you pay will depend on the tenure of the contract you sign - eg. 1 year contract RM1,799 and 2 years contract RM1,499. Sorry, can't remember the exact figure, dun take the figures seriously.

for all my android phone - rooting is a MUST, coz need to use Titanium Backup and Market enabler. But installing custom rom is just optional. Not yet install any custom rom to my Note yet. I also flashed custom rom to my Desire HD previously only for the HTC lockscreen with photos only after many months on stock ROM.

Custom ROMs are addictive but somehow never bug free.

I think something really wrong, try factory reset, if still cannot solve the problem, no choice have to send to sc.

i think pass-thru and tethering is different:

1. USB tethering is computer/laptop using phone's mobile network - yes, work on both DHD and Note.
2. Pass-thru is Phone using computer/laptop's internet connection via USB cable - work on DHD but I dun think Note has this function. Correct me if i m wrong.

7 hours from fully charged to auto-off? have you done the battery calibration?

if battery is not calibrated and you only measure your usage from fully charged to the time the low battery message pop up - it may not be accurate. Coz you might still have 1 hour usage even though your Note show only 1% left, as reported by some users.

Steps you can consider:
1. Calibrate your battery - fully charged and fully discharged (until auto-off). Do a few cycles. (My own method, there is another battery calibration posted by another user here).
2. Measure the usage time from fully charged to auto-off to get a more accurate usage time.
3. Try to use WiFi instead of 3G as much as possible. Also, try not to use 3G in area with poor signals.

i think he mean EX-"girl-friend". Yes, I also have an EX shown - my previous Desire HD. But strangely my first Android phone, the HTC Desire is not connected to my google account. And now my google account has 3 devices - Note, Desire HD and a "DiGi phone".

You can see your device list if you log in from desktop/laptop to Android Market. But i dun see the need to remove the EX device as only the apps/games compatible with your current device will be displayed if you login to Market from your Note.

that is relative figures. If your Display are the highest percentage- meaning you are not using your Note enough, you just turn on your screen frequently without doing anything major.

did you read the reply i posted to your question in the last page?

use your Note to do more stuff. My display percentage only 8% from morning till now after 7 hours unplug from charger.

for light usage, mine can last at least 24 hours or more.

singapore ppl all rush in to malaysia to buy and you want to buy there? Even if you want to sell it off later but if yours is local set with local warranty, for sure the resale value will be higher.
