Added on December 4, 2011, 4:48 pmi think it use your cell broadcast info to determine your location, so turn off GPS won't help. If you post it using Facebook app - dun think you can off it coz when you install it, it should have ask you for permission to access your "Location".

you just bought it? New battery will sux initially. Normal usage can last at least 24 hours. Give the battery some time to be fully optimised. Try fully charge and full discharge a few time, battery life will be more accurate.

I try charge Note with my Sanyo 5,000mAh but it does not fully charge the phone - only up to 90%+ and the charging is very slow. So i think if original battery cost RM150, get a spare battery is better option. But if you have other gadget to charge - bluetooth headset, etc., external battery pack may be better.

yes, need to test further. That is my first charge on Note. Previously it can charge my DHD about 2.5 times. I am expecting it to be able to charge Note at least 1.2-1.5 times.

can only use with Note naked? any gel/tpu case and even the flipcase will make the Note not able to fit in the Dock?

zzzz... drop my Note twice within 24 hours. Yesterday afternoon accidentally pull it down the floor with my office chair while charging. Just now wake up to off the alarm, still a bit blur, the Note slip from my hand and landed flat on the floor. Luckily got the flipcase, not a scratch from both accident. Must go collect the Nillkin case from Poslaju centre asap today.

After testing using it for half a day without the flipcase, finally make the decision to do the surgery to the left side to accommodate the flipcase cover to be able to turn 360°. using it alone without the flipcase feel insecure becoz already use to the protection of the big screen by the flipcase cover.

Like the feature of long press the key will input the number, similar to HTC keyboard, miss it badly coz i already get used to it on my previous HTC Desire and Desire HD.
