what software u guys use to record a video of urself not game/screenshot by using the webcam on the laptop?
the software on the cd? the live thingy?

I did received free copy of Windows 7 64-bit for free previously.

Don't know if the same sweet thing will happened for Windows 8.

Anyone knows what is a good bandwidth monitor for download? I just want to track upload and download speed and the total bandwidth since bootup.

Assuming that the Windows 8 RTM will be released on October 2012, Microsoft may offer express and free upgrade promotion to Windows 8 to those who purchase a Windows 7 computer during August to September 2012. It is probably a way for them to finish their remaining Windows 7 stock.

Going by that logic, current Alienware owners are not eligible for that free upgrade, unless you purchase a new Alienware laptop during August to September 2012.

As in when running on battery? (No AC)?

The m14x is known to auto-shutdown when you maxed your power plan when on battery...

its known as fraps, u can find it bundle with Asus GPUTweak or MSI Afterburner iinm.

hello.. have a problem with my m14x. When i play battlefield 3(single-player mode),after 2-5 min of the game it just randomly freeze. i have to end the process through task manager. but other games work fine (eg: assassin creed,dota 2).. anyone has a solution for this? it only happens in bf3. I already search around google about this stuff and i found out many nvidia gpu users face the same problem. could it be the driver? or maybe the game itself? thx in advance.

Can try updating the driver if not already... If it still persist, then it might be game problem?

8.17.12.6937..windows already detected my driver as the latest one..
in nvidia control panel,i change the setting to below:
single display performances
force vsync off
maximum power performances at the power management mode

i also try lowering all the setting and low resolution..but the problem still there..
does physX has to do something with this..?

imo, the most stable driver for me is 285.79 ..or u can try the newer ones.. 290.xx... (google 285.79 laptopvideo2go)

Mass Effect 3 demo and my cards are running the 295.51 drivers. The game is stable just like the last 2 games with a constant 60fps.
