anyone facing battery charged notification problem..how to stop that annoying sound when battery full charged?the sound keeps playinng...any help?

Understand that SG W will have 512MB RAM, but when I go to task manager-> RAM, i can only see 251MB/351MB, any clue why is it so?

Sound keeps playing..? That's odd..mine played only once when the battery full o_O

the rest being used by the Android OS and system services.

you should get around 150MB+/- RAM available after fresh boot.

you don't get to use all 512MB RAM.

Added on December 22, 2011, 9:54 amdamn, the media scanner problem come back again, this time is on USB storage. Damn, should I really need to enable the USB debugging mode?
this help prevent this such fxxx annoying problem? argh.

Hmm... W runs smoothly on all apps? Any spikes or lags like Ace? I am Ace user but would like to upgrade. Cannot tahan Ace, slow. I need to change to custom rom like coderom v2x-2b and then face some other problems like swype don't hv chinese or bahasa, etc... I like iPhone 4, runs smooth, no hang or lag. Sometimes apps can load slower, but at least while using no issues. So how is W?

Well it's smoother than Ace since I was an Ace user last time. Most apps work fine, don't expect miracles from very resource intensive games.

Yup, HD games might stutter a bit but it's playable. GTA III runs fine if you don't mind occasional stuttering.

HD games still playable, and no lag. except run for too long (30min more?),
then the device get hot a little bit, and perharps some little minor lag.

sometime due to other background service terminated but keep poping out,
some sort like fighting for ram, so when ram reduce for the game, it will lag lag, then the game will try to gain more ram, then will smooth, if other apps again do like that, it will become sudden smooth, sudden lag. (when you play for long time, around more than 20-30min)

so best is get S2. 1GB ram, no worry about lag. zzz

but if get galaxy W, still ok. cheap yet great specs.
If want gaming, get a gaming desktop, ps3 or NGP next year.

LOL, if you fight me, you will still lost look at my stat I still keep the game for some fun slashing

I always just use USB debugging mode, I think the driver its better than the Sammy portable phone stuff...

If you didn't enable the USB debugging, you phone will be identified as I8150 device in your computer. When you copy/move stuff from this device, Sammy driver will be used. It will alert you if you trying to copy things that it suspect cannot be viewed by phone, sometimes, it will convert stuff for you as well. Trying hard to be smart.

When you enable it, you only see 2 additional storages.

They are actually using different driver. I prefer to use it only as storage.

I think what you say is very right. RM888/2 yr warranty. Good enuf. Why spend so much and play games. Better use others to play games. Light games, no lag, good enuf. Thanks CAC@MBO

sure. Even heavy games like Gameloft games, I play also no lag.
well, i never play more than 30min la.
i always clear memory ram, then task kill,
ram will left around 100mb, then only I start those gameloft games.
game smooth such as spiderman HD, splinter cell conviction HD, fifa 2011 HD,
fishing king HD. UNO HD, assassin Creed chronical.

great phone, no worry. ( for me, phone no problem, only usb things bugging me).
wait NGP ba, I saw it release in Japan, with price of $399 (3G/Wifi) with 4gb sd card.
somemore NGP with 5" OLED touch screen, front and back camera, wifi, quadcore processor and don't know how much ram, but should be ok as it's a gaming device. kaka.
in malaysia should be around RM1299? hope less than that. haha

I dont remember if need to reboot, coz I enabled that long time ago... You need to pull down the top menu, select USB mass storage, "connect" to start using it.
