The concept of AP is pretty much skewed now. AP doesn't mean it's fake. And being fake doesn't mean it's made in a particular country. AP means "Approval Product". These are products manufactured by the exact same factories as original units BUT differ because they are parallel imported into the country via various other methods and not distributed via the designated official distributor for the country, and are usually not taxed, that's why they are cheaper to purchase.
