The concept of AP is pretty much skewed now. AP doesn't mean it's fake. And being fake doesn't mean it's made in a particular country. AP means "Approval Product". These are products manufactured by the exact same factories as original units BUT differ because they are parallel imported into the country via various other methods and not distributed via the designated official distributor for the country, and are usually not taxed, that's why they are cheaper to purchase.

Bro,what do u mean my set is AP set?I bought from my working place here which is Samsung Digital Centre and register warranty under SME and it still a AP set?I tried to call my Samsung Malaysia supplier said that 1 of the guy in forum here said that my set is AP set...he was like WTF?I got tell him about the battery thing.He just laugh there.So u really confirm my set is AP set?Means all the device that we bought in SEP,SME or SDC are AP set?Like that huh?Even the SME shop downstair in KSL here sell the same W also which is Made in Japan and Finished in China (Battery).Damn,i can't believe now u say my set is AP set...i need to find Samsung Malaysia manager d if they really sell the AP set in Samsung store.

Any difference from Made in Japan Finished in Korea? Mine is that.

Perhaps, Samsung has different suppliers for different batches of battery.

SenQ sold to me RM949... with 3-yr warranty (i dun even bother)... and my phone is so far so good, brand new sealed with Samsung blue-sticker. I bought together with a colleague and he loves it too.

Dedicated GPS is a lot stronger. Ur phone is smaller than ur gps unit. Don't expect them to pack 10 times the features into a smaller size yet stronger GPS. Btw, my friend rooted Nexus S, he touched the settings through changing the coding, it locks very fast without A-GPS. Roughly 10s

Yeah, sometimes the games will also install a different version.

And my W battery is finished in China.

Haha... I never care about it until when some people here started making hoo-ha about the battery origin.
