1. in phone, enable USB debugging
2. connect phone to notebook
2. in computer, run "adb shell pm setInstallLocation 2"

alternatively, install Terminal Emulator, start a shell and type this:

$ pm setInstallLocation 2

New W user here. Can anyone advise how to change Files Storage Location to External SD memory when taking photo or video ? The Storage Loc Icon seems not selectable on the Camera screen ?

just click camera. then when in camera or video mode, click the setting, then scroll to the bottom, 2nd last is the storage choice. click memory card. If not working then you have to go back the place where you buy the phone.

*make sure you have memory card inside. zzzZ

TQ ! THere's no "Memory Card" in the Settings List... 2nd last is Exposure Value and Last is Focus mode... The "memory Card" option missing  ??? When I pressed Settings for long time, the shortcut will appear will many icons, there's one "storage", but I can't change it.

Hi...new SGW owner here  ...bought 2 set for me and my gf..cost us RM 940 per set with 8GB mmc...with 1 years warranty...after finished reading V1 & v2 feel that i could get lower price at that time if i know the price quoted by seller in garage sale section...sigh  ..but currently satisfied with it performance...ok with call volume...smooth screen scrolling...but since i bought it, the phone hang several time...i need to 'cabut' the battery and restart the phone...is it a problem facing by SGW owner currently???

should be in /data/app/NAME_OF_THE_APP.apk

if you chosen to "move to sd", it will be in /mnt/asec/NAME_OF_THE_APP.apk instead...

although it is in /mnt/asec/ it is actually resides inside your external sd card.

if u take out the sd card and read it from notebook (or use usb), u will see it's in /.android but it's encrypted.
