Hello apple byte

I'm the owner of Iphone 5S

problem:
- screen have yellow color around the edges (is it normal?)
- iphone restart by itself (no update or anything)
- the vibrate mode keep turning on/off by itself (the switch was untouch most of the time)
i didnt put into vibrate but the phone suddenly "zeet, zeet", check no messages or calls
it keep on "zeet, zet, zet, zet" for no reason
if i put on vibrate n turn it off
the notification vibrate gone, then few hours later, same thing happen again
sometime my notifications didnt sound any incoming message even tho got message coming in

what is the problem actually?
is it hardware or software usually?

IOS 10.3.1, Iphone 5S 32GB.

hard reset didnt work out.
*
- screen have yellow color around the edges (is it normal?) - Either been dropped many times or your battery already bloated pushing the screen.
- iphone restart by itself (no update or anything)- Try restore device. If still same than could be battery or board issue.
- the vibrate mode keep turning on/off by itself (the switch was untouch most of the time)- You need to replace the volume / mute button flex cable.

the worker at customer service said "it's fine, nothing wrong with it"

Battery can cost anywhere from below rm100 -rm200++ depending on type and where you get it replaced. Flex cable should be around rm100++.
Normally the yellow greenish border doesn't affect anything during the early stage. As time goes by you will notice the border getting bigger and sometimes you will face touch sceen issues. See if its caused by battery bloat.

hi guys...

gifted with a water damaged iphone 6s 128 GB.

I heard that the phone can be replaced by paying RM1800... question is..

1) where do I take the phone to take up on the replacement offer?

2) any requirements like proof of purchase, receipts or box?

thanx

Quick question, I'm using iPhone 6 Plus. After charging my battery to 100%, it would only last 6hours max, after I swapped new batteries, the problem persist. I was told that if the problem persist, the motherboard is due for replacement.
Is this true?

Most likely the logic board has short. It will drain battery fast. You can either replace it or try repair it first.

Hi all SIFU, I got issue to my Iphone 6s, it probably get overheat while charging, the battery is flat until cannot turn on, when plug in the USB cable it show the Itunes logo, tried Recovery mode and DFU mode to flash the latest firmware, it showed Error 2009, after that i suspect is the battery issue. because it cannot charge at all and unable to boot, then i go to the shop and change the battery. after changed the battery is working fine, but still stuck at the Itune logo, then i tried to reflash it, it become Error 9..... :s tried go back the shop, the technician said is not their problem. i am quite lost here.

what i have tried.
- itunes - latest version , flash failed (Error 9)
- changed computers , flash failed (Error 9)
- tried different beta firmware. flash failed (Error 9)
- used third party flashing tools, Reiboot & 3utools, flash failed (Error 9)
- Changed the charging connector & original USB cable, flash failed (Error 9)

I have done some research, Error 9 is an unknown issue, it can be hardware, it can be software or both.

Is there anybody can recommend me any shop can provide better service?

Or should i send back to Apple workshop to repair, since the repair cost can be very high now.....

New update:

When the phone shop changed the battery, the phone still stuck at the Itunes Logo. Then the technician refused to solve the issue, and ask me go back to the Apple shop. shakehead.gif

No refund money at all ranting.gif .

But if i go back Apple shop, would they knew my phone sent to the repair shop or not? sweat.gif

finally able to pin point the problem via the analytic log.

my iphone 5 randomly restart the into boot loop. all in panic error bug type 110

all related to i2c2 checkBusStatus SLC is stuck low
and i2c2 checkInterrupts error interrupt.

are these related to bad wifi chip?

Owner of iPhone 6 64GB, IOS Version: 10.3.3 (14G60). Modem Firmware: 5.62.00

Problem:
-Battery indicator. Example current battery at 80%. After few hour without any usage, % drop to 50% or 60%. The battery seems to drain very fast even with the screen locked. When dropping to 1%, phone shut down. After 5 - 10min, restart back without charging, battery maybe more than 1% (10% or 30%)
-Silent mode turns on/off by itself(sometimes only). DUst issue?

What is the problem actually?
Is it hardware or software usually?
Hard reboot doesn't solve this.
Please advise.
Thanks

Battery drain fast could be related to battery problem itself or there is a short on logic board causing drainage. High chances is battery.

Silent auto on/off is related to the ribbon. Replace it and problem will be solved. smile.gif

Same problem as mine iphone 6 128gb 10.3.3, Everything was perfect till update to 10.3.3

Usually " Phone, Message, Whatsapp and viber app" running in background on 10.3.2 and battery seems very good.

Now (10.3.3) if 4 of those apps run in background, battery drains like F1 car mad.gif

10.3.2 was way more better bangwall.gif

Note: Temporary solution clear all apps in background. (seems working ok) rclxub.gif

Updated many units to 10.3.3 nvr face such issue so far but if your device is facing the issue after the upgrade you can still downgrade while apple still signing 10.3.2
